What do you like to do to relax?

Christopher Rice This is a tough question. If you have any desire to write, then reading and watching movies and T.V. stop being passive activities. You start analyzing (and sometimes even picking apart) everything you read and watch. So while there's still an element of enjoyment to consuming various forms of entertainment, there's also a stimulation factor there that isn't exactly relaxing. Friends have always encouraged to take up hobbies, but I'm incredibly resistant to the idea. I have a PlayStation I barely play and lots of cooking equipment I've yet to christen. Nothing zones me out quite like going for a long walk with my iPod. A long drive by myself can have the same effect.

In your experience is it difficult to find a literary agent to represent a novel with gay protagonists? We ask because we are about to embark on such a journey and have heard some disturbing stories about how agents prefer not to take such novels on.
