Have you ever read a book that left you with a big smile on your face and a warm, sort of fuzzy feeling in your heart? A book that made you want to contact the author and tell them how much you enjoyed their work and then spend the evening spooning the book in a gentle, loving-yet-platonic embrace? Then add that book to this list so other people might get that feeling too.

I was so surprised to see Girl of the Limberlost on the list. I read it as a pre-teen and loved it so. I could not find a copy of the book when I was a school librarian not the book that followed by Porter. Loved them, they kept me enchanted while I had the mumps.

Hi Tanya,Your remarks reminded me that I also wanted to read.
I'd like to read Girl of the Limberlost now. Never too late.

I think most of the Gene Stratton Porter books have been re-released as ebooks now. (In case anyone here is interested).

Interesting question. I don't snuggle with books, or other inanimate objects either. Other than my pillow.
It's good to know that the book people on this godforsaken website want to most "snuggle" with normalizes the eradication of disabled people. Knee jerk naysayers can google Francesco Clark and argue with him about my statement, and then pay me $20 for educating them.
*was also severely disappoint about the inclusion of Me Before You, fwiw*I like how the title is only "wanted to snuggle". Physically hugging books isn't something everyone does? :p
It says in the description: "Have you ever read a book that left you with a big smile on your face and a warm, sort of fuzzy feeling in your heart?" Yet The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank is on this list...It is beyond me how this book can leave a 'big smile on your face and a warm, sort of fuzzy feeling'. Do voters realize this diary is not fictional!? And there are 21 voters at the moment...! As I said, this is really completely beyond me.
