A modern day spy book with teens as the main protagonists. I was dubious but it worked so well. It was fun and engaging but did not stay too long. I really am looking forward to reading more of the series now.

MY MONTHLY RECOMMENDATION (and why):

It is a standalone short story in the Warhammer 40K universe based on the Orks and was not too long to overstay its welcome but funny. It is set in three parts and shows a lot of Ork mentality. The different actors really helped with working out the grogs from the squibs from the Orks.

Not in category

A really interesting retelling of the goose girl in a middle eastern setting and with a princess who just doesn't want her title back. It shows so much growth and also a great retelling. A little long in places but all world building and makes sense why in the end.

A good mixture a lot are ebooks and audible now but have a lot of physical books. I am scared to count them but the spare room is basically full of shelves and books double stacked. :D

So this book I only picked up this year but is a highly interesting look into generational damage and addiction. Also the knock on effects on mental health and our justice system (UK). I will admit I enjoyed it more as I work in the area that he is talking about growing up in and have been to the prison described (for work :P). I would highly recommend it.
