I'm Tom Huddleston, author of fantasy adventure THE WAKING WORLD and episodes in the STAR WARS: ADVENTURES IN WILD SPACE series. I also write about film and TV for publications including Time Out, Sight & Sound and The Guardian, and I sing in a noisy folk-rock band called The No Sorrows.

I was born in Kendal and raised in North Yorkshire, where my first book THE WAKING WORLD takes place. I realise that I almost have the same name as Loki, but rest assured I'm not him. I'm slightly shorter and a fair bit rounder. However, I have managed to make him admit that it's his family who spell their name wrong, not mine.

If you have any questions at all about me, THE WAKING WORLD or STAR WARS: ADVENTURES IN WILD SPACE, please get in touch!

The second book has been written (and the third is all planned out), but sadly problems with publishing mean they're still stuck on my hard drive! Hopefully the book will one day see the light of day - it's much better than the first one! Tom(less)

"'The Waking World' is a futuristic Arthurian tale on an epic scale. It's set in a future society which is completely unlike the one we know today. The Earth has been ravaged by pollution and climate change and the people live as they did in the pa..." Read more of this review »

"Normally I would have given 5 stars but because the author rely his story on other popular myths like King Arthur and his sword Excalibur. It's been long since I've read a book with good plots and I would recommend it to anyone who loves reading a..." Read more of this review »

"I nearly gave up on this one, a rare DNF, and was going to send it back to the library (mostly) unread. I am so glad I didn't because I ended up loving it!

What I would like to know is where's the next book in the series? Because it can't just end..." Read more of this review »
