That is a lot of new letters. Hmmm, ... at least i could use letters that I haven't been able to use for a little while, but it also means 114 more 'E's and 80 more 'O's.

Did you count the '&' symbol as 'AND" or skip it?

Thanks Twist. I haven't read the original instructions in ages.

I've already done Cherry Garcia and Dublin Mudslide, so I'm not going to redo those two. That makes the list a little shorter.

For awhile, at least, every book you read would fit somewhere :) That always makes me happy. Yes, I'm weird that way LOL

Joanne Reading this talk about adding more flavours got me wondering how many letters I have left. I just counted and I'm down to needing only 78 more! Easy to remember what I need also because it's A, E, I, O, U. Finished everything else.

Cherie (cheriereads) Hi everyone! I know it's been ages and ages since I've been around. Some of you probably have no idea who I am but I'm the original creator and mod of the group and the creator of this challenge. First, I want to apologize for abandoning the group. I never intended to completely disappear but life just got in the way. In the 5 years since I created this challenge I had another baby, left one job, started another and have just had very little time to be online.

Anyway, I want to thank all of you for sticking with the challenge! Congrats to those of you who have completed it and to those of you who are so close! I have updated the original post with a new updated list of current and graveyard flavors. I have also left the original lists. I leave it up to each of you to decide which lists you want to work off of.

For the future, I hope to be around Goodreads a little more but I will likely not be updating this challenge or the group in general. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Good luck everyone and happy reading!

I have never counted how many I need either. There are WAY to many vowels, it would probably make me just want to quit lol!
One book at a time, that is the best we can do! Pretty sure I'll be here for as long as my eyes will let me read to finish this one though lol! =)

I gauge my challenges by how fast Barb finishes hers. Once she finishes this one I have about 10-15 years left =p

Welcome to the challenge, Diana!

I didn't want to jump in too quickly, but I did want to welcome you to the challenge.

You probably already know this, buy you might want to reserve several more place so you can keep all your updates in line. I think you can generally fit about 100 books per post - if that helps.

If you want to reserve space below, I'll delete this post so yours are all together.

Also - because I can't edit Cheri's participants post, I won't be able to set up a link for you. Just be sure to make note of your message #1155 above to make it easy to find and update.

Sorry to be long-winded :)

Welcome to the ice cream fun!!

That's awesome, Barb! Way to go!!

message 1146: by Barb (new)

Barb Thank you :) I'm down to needing nothing but Os and Us ... so it'll be awhile before I finish this beast. It's been fun, but I'm starting to get tired of seeing it on my challenge list. It's only been on the list for FIVE years now (started August 10, 2012) *sigh*

That is a long time on your list, but what an accomplishment when it is done!

At least I have an idea of how long it will be on my list. Lol

message 1148: by Joanne (new)

Joanne I'm down to Es Os and Us. It's exciting to make progress when I actually read one though.

Yes! And with the O books I need to read for Suzanne's obstacle course, that will help knock out a few O books here too :)
