Thanks so much for getting in touch. Glad you enjoyed Mrs Sinclair's Suitcase. I have to be honest and say, I'm not sure what happens to Roberta and Philip, although I'm pretty sure they still live in the flat above the bookshop and spend their days working there. I suspect they are a good couple, happy and content. There might be a child or two by now... who knows? And I like to think Anna visits from time to time, forming a relationship with Roberta. Let's hope so! (less)

I started to, but it was so odd hearing my words spoken by those brilliant actresses. I felt so self-conscious. I'm doing fine, thank you for asking. My second novel is out 28 March. No plans for an audio version yet, but fingers crossed there will be one. Hope this answers your questions?! (less)

Mrs Narwhal's Diary by S.J. Norbury
"More than anything else, this book is funny. I think the turn of every page brings at least a smile, but more often a full on laugh out loud. Littered throughout with amusing analogies this author certainly has a way with words, and yet its a natural" Read more of this review »

Mrs Narwhal's Diary by S.J. Norbury
"I loved this story of woman's very british struggle with a delapidated country house, a hopeless husband, too small boys and a sister-in-law with a romantic problem. It's gorgeous, beautifully written, warm, witty and so readable. I looked forward to" Read more of this review »

"Let’s get this out in the open right from the off. This book is bonkers. Totally off the wall, a crazy ride, bizarre characters and a series of increasingly unlikely and out of control events might make you think this book is not the one for you. Do " Read more of this review »

"Slightly bonkers and very funny. An enjoyable read made even better as it’s my era and my old stomping ground! "

“I find things hidden in books: dried flowers, locks of hair, tickets, labels, receipt, invoices, photographs, postcards, all manner of cards. I find letters, unpublished works by the ordinary, the anguished, the illiterate. Clumsily written or eloquent, they are love letters, everyday letters, secret letters and mundane letters talking about fruit and babies and tennis matches, from people signing themselves as Majorie or Jean....I can't bring myself to dispose of these snippets and snapshots of lives that once meant (or still do mean) so much.”
