I am Abigail Keam, the award-winning author of the Josiah Reynolds Mystery Series and the 1930s Mona Moon Mystery Series.

Next one is Death By Stalking, and I hope to have it out in October or early November. Thank you very much for your kind words. It's a pleasure to write for those who enjoy a woman like Josiah and her wacky friends. Miss Abigail (less)

Why did I have to stumble upon dead people? It was unnerving. This was my eighteenth corpse. Dead people were the gift that kept on giving.

"This was the best new series I’ve started in a long time. I loved the characters and the story. Loved Mona’s spunk. She seemed to be handing out money pretty freely and I was worried she’d run out. But that is my own worry not in the book. Start this" Read more of this review »

"The first thing that came into my head was, "What a fun book."
Sometimes you don't need blood and guts and autopsies and grim. Sometimes, you just need fun.
Mona Moon fits the bill. Witty, sharp, fast and memorable, I enjoyed every page."

“The pain of loss never leaves. You just learn how to live with it, that’s all.”
Abigail Keam, Death By Chocolate

“Let it go. Let it go. Not worth the anger. Anger is bad for healing.”
Abigail Keam, Death by Drowning

“I remember you saying that each individual had a responsibility to do something beautiful in his or her life, even if it was painting a horse fence. The quest for beauty kept us from becoming enamored of evil.”
Abigail Keam, Death By Bridle

“Get ready, old chap. Marriage is less about love and more about who is right.

There are men in this world, who can’t stand the regular Joe having a good life. These men have always gotta be stepping on someone. Makes them feel important, and they are usually standing behind a flag or a Bible to knock the other guy down. Don’t let these people take your dreams away.

It was a gut feeling she couldn’t explain except that it felt right— like thread going through a needle.

Envy is a horrible taskmaster. It turns the nicest people into snakes.”
