I am excited to pick for you. Unfortunately, we just spent the whole day and evening at the hospital with my mother-in-law, who is having heart problems. She is doing well now, but I am exhausted and want to be able to give you good picks when I am lucid and able to concentrate. It is almost midnight here, so I promise you I will do it first thing tomorrow morning!

Hi Leslie!
Here are your recs!
From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins - Sparks Fly by Katie MacAlister, you seem to like this author, and it’s the next one in the series with a good rating.
Nut Clusters - As You Desire by Connie Brockway, I love this book! So funny and such a sweet but clever romance.
Truffles - A Lot Like Love by Julie James, another of my favourites, in fact my favourite of all Ms. James books
Hot Cocoa - Call Me Irresistible by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, I always enjoy curling up with a Phillips romance!
From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - The Bridal Season by Connie Brockway, this book has a mistaken identity premise and its absolutely adorable
Chocolate Fondue - Rocky Mountain Heat by Vivian Arend, this one’s a cowboy erotica, friends-to-lovers romance
Dark Chocolate - Deadly Fear by Cynthia Eden, one of my favourite romantic suspense novels about an abused profiler heroine and a really supportive hero. It's quite scary.
Chocolate Covered Ants - Try it, you might like it - And One Last Thing by Molly Harper, I noticed you haven’t read this author. It’s about a lady who exacts revenge on her cheating husband. I found it to be very funny but moralistic as the heroine learns to forgive

From Your TBR - Shattered Dreams by Lauran Landon, the premise sounds interesting with an imperfect heroine and a horse-y hero =)

Varuca! Thanks for the prompt (and great) picks!
I'm having problems deciding what to read. ;) It will probably be one of these: Hammered, Exclusively Yours, Promises, Simply Irresistible or Among the Living.
I'm not sure I can do a buddy read because I already have one set up this month.
Thanks for the recs!

Hope you like your picks. Let me know if you don't and I'll pick again.

I'm surprised we're not friends already because we have very similar tastes and we read lots of different genres. I've gotten into fantasy a lot in the last year so I had to stop myself from recommending mostly fantasy for this as I see you like it as well.
As usual, I went overboard and gave you at least 2 picks per category but if you want more, please let me know and I can find something else. :)
FROM LJ's TBR CUPBOARD:
Chocolate Raisins (favorite series/author) - Fair Game by Patricia Briggs OR Death Masks by Jim Butcher. Both series that you've enjoyed.
Nut Clusters (funny) - The Proposition by Judith Ivory OR Hounded by Kevin Hearne. Very different books but both very funny, and two of my favorites.
Truffles (yummy covers) - Unlawful Contact by Pamela Clare OR Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione. More than the covers, I recommend these because they are very good books. UC is my favorite in the I-Team series - we gave the exact same ratings to the first two books in the series so I'm trusting you'd like this one as well. PU is the first book in the Demonica series and the best one in my opinion.
Hot Cocoa (good to snuggle) - The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss OR Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. I wasn't sure what books to pick for this category (I read mostly in my iPad so I don't snuggle with books, LOL!) so I selected two books from your TBR that I rated 5 stars. I loved them both.

FROM MY PANTRY SHELVES
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries (sweet romance) - Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles OR As You Desire by Connie Brockway. Really sweet romances that make you sigh when you're done reading. :)
Chocolate Fondue (hot book) - Planet X by Evangeline Anderson OR Wicked Ties by Shayla Black. I'm going out on a limb as I see that you don't have that many really erotic books in your TBR but I thought I might recommend some anyway. These two would have been good choices for new genres...the first one is sci-fi erotica (yes, erotica in outer space!) and the second one is BDSM, a really good for a beginner of the sub-genre. :)
Dark Chocolate (suspense or thriller) - Cry No More by Linda Howard OR Monkeewrench by P.J. Tracy. Don't believe the title of the first book, I cried buckets and most people I know who have read it did too. It's one of the most heartwrenching romance books I've read but really good. Monkeewrench (I think the UK title is Want To Play?) is one of my favorite contemporary mysteries, with really great characters.
Chocolate Covered Ants (new author, sub-genre) The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Annie Barrows OR The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd OR Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I see you don't read that much historical fiction so I'm recommending two in particular that I loved, one set in WWII Britain and the second one deals with racial tension in America in the 60s. Both are really good books and not very depressing given the subject matter. And just for kicks, I also recommended RPO, one of my favorite sci-fi books of last year.

BUDDY READS
From LJ's TBR - Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta OR Zero Sight by B. Justin Shier. These are in both our TBRs. Not sure if I can fit them in these month but I'll certainly try if you'd like to read them.
From My TBR - The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner OR Private Arrangements by Sherry Thomas. I'll be buddy reading 'The Thief' with other ladies this month. Let me know if you want to join us!

I'm going to start off with

Happy Friday! :)"
Happy Friday to you too! No rush on the picks. I have the tendency to read only the same authors and genres repeatedly. I am always happy to have new suggestions!

Chocolate Raisins -

Hey Suzanne! Before I even say anything I have to say congratulations on your new baby!! I can't believe your back on goodreads so soon after having a little one!
Anyways, I loved your recommendations! Next month is going to be very busy for me, with it being exam month at school. So I'm only going to be able to read one maybe two this month. The two I really want to try to squeeze in are probably

Thanks for the great recommendations!

I meant to post last night, but the Goodreads site kept crashing. :-( So, you have a lot of great books to choose from. If none of these hit the mark, let me know and I will be more than happy to dive in again.
From Your TBR Cupboard
Chocolate Raisins: - Looks like you read the first book in the Outlander series a couple of years ago and gave it 5 stars, so I would highly recommend continuing with Dragonfly in Amber to see what happens to Jamie and Claire. You appear to really like Marian Keyes (so much so that I have added her to my must-read list) so try another of her books, This Charming Man. Or, return to Bon Temps and read From Dead to Worse (I am Team Eric myself!)
Nut Clusters: Boycotts & Barflies and You Slay Me both look humorous.
Truffles: The chocolates on this cover look divine, Artichoke's Heart; the cover of The Adoration of Jenna Fox really caught my eye (and the story sounds really good).
Hot Cocoa - The Mists of Avalon,The Forgotten Garden, or Sugar Daddy all seem like good snuggle-with-a- blanket-and-hot-cocoa books.

From My Pantry Shelves
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries: Mine Till Midnight and Silver Lining are very sweet and enjoyable romances.
Chocolate Fondue: Since you liked the first 3 Black Dagger Brotherhood novels, try Butch's story inLover Revealed; Pleasure Unbound is a steamy tale involving demons who run a hospital.
Dark Chocolate: If you like scary, you can't go wrong with Stephen King's Carrie; The Witching Hour is Anne Rice's multi-generational tale of a family of witches; The Passage is a post-apocalyptic saga about virus-induced vampires; The Girl Who Played With Fire continues Lisbeth Salander's story (I liked this one better than the first)
Chocolate Covered Ants: Here are four books by some of my favorite authors: The Tea Rose,
The Bronze Horseman,
A Game of Thrones,
Firefly Lane (if you choose this one, make sure to have the tissues handy).
