I read 2 books that I classified as "chick lit".
The Late, Lamented Molly Marx by Sally Koslow (a GoodReads Author).
As Husbands Go by Susan Isaacs.
Both also had "death" as a factor in common. In the first, Molly Marx died and in the afterlife is trying to figure out how she died. In the 2nd, the story is told by Susie, who's husband dies in a situation that is controversial, and she is trying to find out who really killed him.
I really liked "Molly Marx", but the other one was just okay.

IF you LOVE this time of year (Hanukkah! Kwanza! Solstice! Christmas! New Years! Squeee!), then read a sad book – fiction that makes you cry, with a sad ending, or non-fiction about a sad subject.
We had very happy holidays this year, so I read a sad book:

For this task I read The Shaughnessey Accord by Alison Kent which is 112 pages.
25.3 -- Christine US's task - REFLECTIONS on 2010
One of my favorite memories of 2010 was going to a big craft fair/show in Sacramento with my mother and grandmother. Getting out of town overnight and spending the day trying new crafts and buying some beautiful handmade crafts was great fun.
I read Wreath of Deception by Mary Ellen Hughes (Goodreads Author) for Part A. The main character in the story owns a craft store and has some craft classes for the other characters while trying to solve a murder.
For Part B I read Witch Hunt by Shirley Damsgaard (Goodreads Author) who I first read in 2010 and have been really enjoying.
