In 1987 Sean Connery won the Leading Actor BAFTA for The Name of the Rose. I read Perfect Circle by Sean Stewart who shares his first name.

In 1964 Rachel Roberts won the BAFTA Leading Actress Award for This Sporting Life. I read The Dark Room by Rachel Seiffert who shares her first name.

I wanted to use performances in two movies which I love – and I did!
