I have a question.For The 5th Wave, would I be able to use "Wave" since 'the' is in the title and the next word is a number? It's not the first word/first after 'the'. Or would I have to use 5th and use the spelling not the number?
In this case it would be number as first word. You can use it as number or as letter. What ever suits you.Also you don't have to ignore that The if you need T :)

Yes, I guess it would be arc. My husband has written the book from the diaries of our friends who did a trip from Copenhagen to Istanbul in kayaks. They made this 1½ year trip with their two young children.
