Jen (reader44ever) | 60 comments Janet wrote: "How do you underline?"

If you mean, how do you get links, you need to be using the Goodreads.com site (either via your computer or a web app on your smart device) and click the "add book/author" link that is just above the comment box.

If you mean literally "how do you underline?", then you would do this:
< u >Underline< / u >
But you type the < u > and < / u > without the spaces:
Underline

I hope this helps!

Celina UPDATE June 2: I'm quitting the Read Harder challenge for the year. My reading is broad right now, and I find myself wanting to go for depth: foreign-language books, classic novels and dense newer fiction that take a long time to read, meaty nonfiction. Also, I've been doing some spiritual/self-help reading that doesn't fit into the Read Harder categories. And, honestly, I don't believe I'd ever use the prize for finishing, not that it's about that. Maybe next year.

Book Riot wrote: "Lots of you have requested a place to post your personal reading plans for the challenge, so here's the place! Just keep track of which # comment your plan is so you can come back and make edits of..."

Possibilities marked with a question mark. Completed books listed with full title and author.

Hi Isabel! I can totally understand where you're coming from - for example, I really am not into plays or food memoirs. The trick, though, is to branch out to read something we might initially shy away from. Have you considered maybe picking up something that could fill the Horror task but is more suspense, or spooky, rather than blood & guts/psychological thriller? I have seen plenty of folks give some great examples of books that aren't necessarily "horror" but will likely fit the bill. I am by no means suggesting you make yourself uncomfortable; I am only encouraging you (and myself!) to try dipping a toe into a pool we have generally avoided. Either way, happy reading and I hope you find some great things to read through this challenge!
