Only 3 by Chris Moore in the top 100. What's with that?

Lots of things to look for, here. I'd rather have a list of the first volumes of a bunch of different series, but I found several that were new to me. Thanks!
Loved the list. I already read many of these hopefully others can add more so i can seek them out and enjoy them as well.
I really enjoyed the list but I wish there were more books in it...I have almost finished the whole list so if anyone could recommend other booksn or lists like this, I'd appreciate it.
I thought this was a list of HUMOROUS paranormal books. Lots of good books listed, but less than 10% IMO are humorous except for a few brief moments.
I added some books I thought were really humorous (rather than having a touch of humor):Acosta, Marta Happy Hour at Casa Dracula
Bodner, Hal Bite Club
Lewis, J F Stake
Martinez, A Lee Gil's All Fright Diner (may alread be on list)
Any Christopher Moore or Terry Pratchett (discworld) book.

Some of it is hysterically funny even when it does not mean to be funny! Even the names can be too silly.

This list seems to have drifted rather far from it's purpose. However paranormal, the Black Dagger Brotherhood books are NOT funny, nor are they intended to be so by the author. Neither is the Kitty Norville series. I like both of these and many other books listed here, but they are NOT intended to be humorous. Can somebody start another list, say, Intense, erotic paranormal? Lots of these books would belong there, rather than here.
I was really excited for this list, but there are soooo many not humorous books on here!!! There are some good ones for sure, but the list really needs to be cleaned up. There are even some non-paranormal books on here too. How do these lists get cleaned up, anyway? Aargh.

Oh Mel, that would be great, and I'm sure we could all help out!! Your lists have been so helpful! I'm always looking for a little humor to throw in every once in a while, and love the paranormal twist sometimes! ;-)
Sorry, Mel, but "DJ group site" is too obscure a reference for me. Translate for an old lady, please?:)
Aha! Further research indicates the "DJ" referred to is Darynda Jones. Great! The library finally found a copy of First Grave on the Right for me and I'll start on it later today.
I love The Undead series by MaryJanice Davidson, The Sookie Stackhouse Mystery Series by Charlaine Harris, The Immortality Bites Series by Michelle Rowen.
These are all very unique, and funny paranormal romance series. Worth a read.
I'm curious about Lynsand Sands books, but i'm not sure if i'll like them..
Removed Confessions of a Shopaholic as it is not paranormal and therefore not in keeping with the list.
for the most fun read Nobody Loves a Bigfoot Like a Bigfoot Babe. It's so way out funny like the worst thing the Broken Lizards could think of.

Do books starring the Devil / something from the underworld coming to Earth count as Paranormal? These are some fun comedies:For younger folk:
For an older crowd (mostly for cursing language):
There's also a lot of hilarious supernatural manga.
I assume it has to be grounded in the real (Earthly) world with some fantastical entity entering the fray to be supernatural instead of fantasy where it takes place in an alternate world?
I love Molly Harper. If you read m/m, Charlie Cochet's "Thirds" series is amazing Hell & High Water and so is Eli Easton's "Howl at the Moon" series How to Howl at the Moon. Both are very funny.
Almost all of Christopher Moore's books would rank in my top 20 - I love his books (well, except Sacred Blue...still can't get past the 1st chapter). And if you like Christopher Moore (especially Bite Me, You Suck, and Bloodsucking Fiends), then I think you'll love Drew Hayes and his Fred the Vampire seriers: The Utterly Uninteresting and Unadventurous Tales of Fred, The Vampire Accountant; Undeath and Taxes; and Bloody Acquisitions.
These books are hilarious and fun, with great character development and rich writing. I am impatiently waiting for book 4.
