I'm fine with 30 mins again. I tend to have several books on the go at once so I will not be actually starting anything new. I think I'm going to read a bit of Les Miserables this time. Shall we start on the hour?

I know it's a little early, but I finished the book I was reading. I read 12 pages from when we started. By the time I grabbed another book, and started reading, the time would be up.

I just finished my second book of my list. The Vile Village was a quick read and I have seen the Netflix adaption so I knew what was going to happen.

I've fallen a bit behind with my 'one chapter a day' approach because I've just felt so tired lately (also been working lots).

So far I've found it a little difficult to get into the story. Like everyone else apparently, I also like Monseigneur Bienvenue. It's mostly because of his character that I've been able to read want I have.

I'm hoping to catch up to where I should be over the next few days. I'm also hoping that I'll actually want to read more as opposed to I should keep reading, once the story picks up more.

So, I thought I had a copy on my Kindle just waiting to be read, but it turns out I was wrong. I went to my local library today and they didn't seem to have a copy (not the I could find anyway). The library does have an online system where you can request books from other libraries in the nearby areas and they will send a copy there, so I may see if I can do that. Otherwise, the library also have a ebook system, so I will see if they have a copy on there.

In short, I have been unable to acquire a copy thus far, but I will join in once I get ahold of one.

I'm focusing more on books I own because some of them I've had for so long and are therefore some of the oldest on my TBR list. Despite telling myself for years that I should use my local library, I only recently started borrowing books for there. So far it's only been books that I have wanted to read for a while, but hadn't aquired copies for yet. Most of my physical book collection has come from local charity shops and when I'm done with them, and if I decide I probably won't read them again, I give them back to a charity shop.

I would like to join in for this year. My average books yearly is about 250, but I am hoping to read more this year.

I'm so happy to be doing this challenge again this year as it helps motivate me to read books on my TBR list.

This year I have decided to focus mostly on books that are part of a series. Some will be part of series that I have started, but not yet finished. As some of the books are fairly short and I beat my target of 20 books last year, I am going to aim for at least 25 books. Most of the books have been on my TBR list since 2012 or 2013 so it will help clean up some of my earlier added books.
