I reached 200 read on the 17th December. I don't see any point going to level 3 with so few days left in the year.

I finally finished this level. A bit later than I had anticipated. Now on to level 2. :)

I'm only at about 36% with Les Mis, but I have been reading a bit more of it lately. I hope to catch up over this month and August.

I just finished book 3 in Cosette. I admit that I didn't read much of this for a while as I was focusing on finishing some books I was nearing the end of, but I picked it up last night thinking I would read a chapter or two and I ended up reading half of the 'book' until I was almost falling asleep and then I finished the rest today. According to my app, book 4 will take about 40 mins to read so hopefully I will finish that tonight or if not tomorrow.

I need to catch up as much as I can over this next week or two as I know I won't read much in July because my boyfriend is visiting and he prefers to watch things instead of reading and I find it very difficult to read with background noise.

I finished book 13 for this year The Sea of Monsters. At the beginning of the book, I questioned why I was bothering with the Percy Jackson series, but after a bit the book picked up and kept me interested. I have the other books and I plan to read those this year too, but first I need to finish some books that I've already started.

I also realised that I added way too may books to my list for this year. While my goal is to read 25 of them, and I am halfway there, there are way more than that on the list I made. I think I was very ambitious at the end of last year. I hightly doubt I will get them all read, but who knows maybe I'll get most of them done.... maybe.

Haha, yeah, that was my thoughts exactly. I like history, I have a degree in it, but if I’m reading a book that I didn’t expect there to be long descriptions of an historical event, then I’ll most likely skim over it. Unless it’s something I’m really interested in.

Oh yes. I think this might be the longest book I would have ever read, so it would definately be an achievement.
And now I've got to Book 3 in Cosette it now says I only have just under 43 hours left...

I finally got passed the battle. To be honest, I skimmed through it a bit, but I think I got the important parts. I started book 2 but unfortunately I have to go to work very soon so I can’t finish it just yet, but as it’s only a short book I do plan to finish it tonight and maybe even read a chapter or two in book 3.

My plan to read Volume 2 - Cosette did not work last month. May seemed to just disappear and all of a sudden it is June. I did read some chapters today, but I'm really struggling with the whole Battle of Waterloo bit. I'm hoping to power through it over the next couple of days so I can get back into the story. My new plan is to finish Volume 2 in June and then in July I'll try and get Volume 3 done.

I didn’t finish any books for this challenge in May, but I have been working on several books for this. My mood has been a bit all over the place so what I have wanted to read had varied a lot. Hopefully I’ll finished one or two books this month.

It's probably the book version. At least that is better than telling me how long is left in the whole book, which it did for a while. It kept telling me I had about 53 hours left...

Yeah, I try and read at least a chapter and if they are only short then I’ll read a couple. My kindle version doesn’t recognise the chapters as chapters. It recognised the book as one ‘chapter’. So as I just started Book one of Cosette it says there is over 2 hours left in the ‘chapter’. It won’t take that long hopefully but that’s what it says.

It definitely got more interesting towards the end of the Volume which helps to keep me interested in reading it. I’ve gone into this blind, I’ve never seen any of the film/TV versions or the theatre show so I honestly didn’t know what to expect but that also made getting through the first part a struggle because I didn’t really understand what was going on.

I’ve got this book on the kindle app on my phone so I’ve tried to make a habit of reading a little bit if I find myself waiting for something like food to finish cooking so that at least I make a little progress often until I’m ready to sit down and read a chunk of it.

I just finished Volume One. It took me longer that I had planned, but at least I’ve reached that first hurdle.

I would like to say that I will finish Volume Two by the end of May, but that is probably going to be unlikely. I will try and get a good chunk of it done before the end of May though.

Yeah, I've been reading The Wizard of Oz and I plan to read the Narnia books soon. I'm reading them mostly because they are quick and easy to read and I am way behind on my reading challenge, but also because I felt like I should have read them when I was younger and want to know what all the fuss is about.

Also, I finished my 12th book, What Katy Did.

I had hoped to finish it sooner, but I got distracted by others books. But then my currently reading list was getting rather large, so I decided I needed to finish some books that I had started.
I enjoyed the book btw.

I was around the same age. We were away for a school trip and my friend had taken the 4th book with her and asked a teacher to read a bit to some of us. He read the first chapter and I enjoyed listening to it that when I got home, I picked up the 4th book and began reading. We already owned it because my mum and brother had read them. I didn't read the first 3 books until I had finished the 4th because the first 3 films had already come out. I just kept re-reading the Harry Potter books until the next one came out. I was a slow reader, so by the time I had got through them again, the next one was out.

I decided to go through my TBR list and deleted about 15 books from it. Most of them were books that I didn’t recognise and probably only added because they were listed as classics or something. I may go through it again later and actually read the synopsis of some of the books to see if I will actually read them.
