35559 I finally finished a book on my list that I worked so hard to finish this year. The Kingfisher History Encyclopedia is one that I started reading a few years ago but then life got in the way and I forgot about it, but I vowed to finish it this year and I did. This now marks my 15th book completed off my list.

I should finish A Clash of Kings either today or tomorrow with was another one on my list I've worked hard to finish. I should easily reach my goal of 20 books this year, but there will be some on my list that get carried over to next year.

35559 I just finished book 12 The Fault in Our Stars. I hadn’t originally planned to read it this year, but it’s another book off my TBR list nonetheless.
Jun 02, 2018 01:59AM

35559 I finished book 11 yesterday which was Crazy as Chocolate by Elisabeth Hyde which was different from what I was expecting, but not necessarily in a bad way.
I have now read most of the shorter books on my list so the rest may take a while to get through, but I still hope to reach my goal of 20.
May 28, 2018 01:48AM

35559 Last night I finished Kings and Queens of England which I have been reading for at least 3 years (on and off of course) so I am very glad to have finished it. I also have another big history book that I've been reading for years and plan to finish this year, but that won't be till much later this year. Book 10 finished and off my list.
Apr 17, 2018 01:26PM

35559 I finished 2 books on my list today. The first was The Book of Nature Myths by Florence Holbrook which I was reading on my phone through the Kindle app. I really enjoyed this one and gave it 4 stars.
The second book was Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. Now this one I actually started in 2013, but got fed up with it and also uni was happening so I put it down half read and only just picked it up again. I gave it 3 stars only because it had me interested for the last 100-150 pages. I initially wasn't planning on reading Breaking Dawn this year, but I think I will just to get the series finished.
Apr 09, 2018 09:46AM

35559 I've fallen back into old habits and I now have about 7 books on the go at once. I rotate what I read depending on how I feel that day or depending on the circumstances. For instance, I have a couple of history books that I will read a topic or two of most days and on my kindle app on my phone I have The Life of Pi which I will read if I'm out and about or find myself bored at work with some free time.
Hopefully I will finish serveral books very close together. I am planning to finish one or two (maybe three) before I go away at the end of the month.
Mar 11, 2018 02:43PM

35559 So far I have completed 2 books this month. About a week ago I finished A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens which I gave 3 stars to and today I finished The Secret by Kathryn Hughes which I gave 5 stars to.
I have also changed my challenge to 20 books (originally it was 10) as I have now finished 5 books on my TBR list which was half of my original goal and we aren't even halfway through March yet!
Feb 25, 2018 11:25AM

35559 I was unable to read as much as I wanted to this month as I was abroad and due to the unexpected misfortune of missing a flight, I had to stay there a few days extra (which wasn't too bad in the end) and then being busy at work since I got back. I made progress on a few books and just finished one, however it seems unlikely that I will finish another this month.

The book I just finished was The Cats of Moon Cottage by Marilyn Edwards and I gave it 4 stars (if I could it would be 4 1/2 stars).
Feb 01, 2018 08:38AM

35559 I finished my second book a few days ago, but now is the only time I've had to make this post. I finished The Hobbit earlier this month which I really hoped I would enjoy, but honestly, I didnt.
The book I finished a few days ago was 1984 which I enjoyed overall, I found the middle dragged a little.
Jan 01, 2018 12:04PM

35559 I really like the idea of this challenge and after having looked at my TBR and the amount of books I added when I first joined, I feel like I really need to do this. I'm only going to go with books I have access to and initially challenge myself to 10. These will be books I added in 2012.
*Edit*
I'm changing my goal to 20 as not even halfway through March, I had completed 5 books and I know that a couple of books on my list will not take very long to read at all.
