35559 I did a similar thing to some of you. When I first joined, I added lots of classics. Now I try and read at least 2 classics a year. Quite a bit of my TBR list is manga which I can read quite quickly, but this year I haven’t been as interested and have read more novels, which I why I’m doing well in this challenge but I’m way behind on my 2019 reading.

35559 At the beginning of this year, I had about 600 books on my TBR list. It's now gone up to about 670. However a lot of the one's I have added lately have been quite short books so hopefully I will be able to bring that number down again.
I was hoping to get my TBR list down to about 400 by the end of the year, but I think that is a bit too ambitious now. I'll aim for 500 instead.

35559 This is one of the few challenges that I am actually ahead in for this year, but I have been mostly focusing on books in my TBR list. My yearly challenge is waaaaaaay behind. It's the worst it has ever been at about 40 books behind schedule. I need to really up my reading game... or lower my goal for the year...
35559 I’m not sure if anyone is still reading this. I’m currently sitting on page 103 which is 35% so I still have a ways to go. I seem to have a habit of reading a few chapters over a couple of days and then not touching it again for weeks. It’s not that I’m not enjoying it, I’ve just had a lot of other things distracting me. However, the number of books I have as ‘currently reading’ is getting ridiculous, so hopefully I will get back into this book and finish it soon-ish.

35559 I just finished Book 5 in Volume 1. I know I’m very behind, but I didn’t touch this book for about a month and now things have calmed down a little, I started reading it again. I’m going to try and finish book 6 tonight as it’s only 2 chapters and then the plan is to finish Volume 1 in about a week. Then I will spend the rest of May trying to read and finish Volume 2.
I don’t know if I will actually stick to this plan, but hopefully the more I read, the more I will enjoy reading it and therefore not want to stop. I also feel like I should catch up sooner rather than later so that I don’t have to panic towards the end of the year.

35559 So, I am pretty far behind target. I finished book 4 in part one. My aim is to try and finish part one by the end of this month, however other challenges has meant that I've put this on hold a little. I am trying to remember to read a little bit every day.
35559 I’m still reading this too. I haven’t read any for a while as other books have distracted me, but I hope to read some more soon.

35559 Reading slump in general. I've got a bit of a creative bug going at the moment and I think that has been taking up time I would have otherwise spent reading. I've just got to find the right balance of both. Also, work has been asking me to do extra hours, which is great money wise, but not so much with other things I want to do.

35559 True. I read 2 chapters today and may read another 1 before sleeping. I'd rather try and get ahead sooner rather than later as I plan to read some long-ish books this year (although, none as long as this one), so I would like to finish what I can of this before I start some of those.

35559 I’ve fallen behind with this. I don’t know what it is at the moment, but I feel like I’m struggling with all my reading. But I read 2 chapters of this last night and plan to try and read 2 chapters a day (or at least one if I don’t quite manage 2) and hopefully that will mean that I finish book two around the weekend.

35559 Ah, thank you very much. That would also explain why I couldn't find it anywhere on this group no matter how hard I looked. Thanks again!

35559 Hello everyone, pardon the intrusion as I know that I am not part of your team, but I've noticed a few of you mention UNO and I've seen it mentioned a bit and people seem to get excited for it, so I'm curious as to what it is. If someone would kindly point me in the right direction as to where I could find this information, I would be very grateful. I've tried looking myself but couldn't find anything.
35559 I've only managed to get to about chapter 9 so far. I've got so many other books that I'm reading at the same time. I am enjoying it so far and hopefully I'll get really into it soon that I won't want to put it down.

35559 I just finished book 4 off my list! Book 3 was Voices from the Holocaust: First-hand Accounts from the Frontline of History which I had hoped to finish last year, but didn't quite manage. It's a great book for anyone interested in history and learning more about the Holocaust.

Book 4 was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which I have always wanted to read and it was just like reading a combination of the Gene Wilder film version and the Johnny Depp one.

I'm quite proud of myself for having finished so many already. I may have to change my goal if this keeps up.

35559 According to my kindle, I only managed 6 pages. I was finding it hard to focus at first. I think I need to take a break from reading for a bit.
