Brilliant, true to the original without being a reproduction, wonderful rendition by Derek Jacoby.

Some times a book reminds you of another story even though they're not remotely related, a few months back I read "a wild sheep chase" and for some strange reason I keep being reminded of that, especially in the first part of dream. Now being compared to Murakami is not the worst that could happen for a novel and androids dream is actually very entertaining and cleverly constructed

This is a very Strange story indeed, something like "catch 22" meets "the sirens of Titan" . The narrative is constantly running left and right to tell apparently unrelated stories, while at the same time using a rather difficult (for one not raised with English as a natural language) movie slang language. All that said it's a original idea and not at all boring

It's funny how reading about other people's running experience can boost your own running motivation, this book is a well written diary like account with a lot of small anecdotes and some useful tips for preparing for your next marathon

Simply brilliant, I'm nearly out off breath at times. I will complete this within the next, it will be very strange after reading this more or less in sequence for the last year

one of the better books in the series, King continues to play with the format of the story, this times with a mixture of 1. person narration mixing between holmes and russell viewpoint.

Probably best book by far up until now, it's like everything we have been waiting for is suddenly starting to happen,(at once !). The narration is more focussed and better structured.

Even though i had been warned that book 8-10 was a long march without destination or progress, this one is actually ok. But it would have been nice I Jordan had worked with an editor to help him shape up the story.

Found this by coincidence while browsing though Sherlock Holmes follow-ups and needed some lighter reading after several 1000+ pages novels. So far I'm not disappointed, even with a female teenager protagonist, which would normally annoy me. The story flows the narration is fluent and believable and even witty at times. So far one of the best "Sherlock after Doyle" novels I have read.
