still interesting and definitely cleverly constructed

“The man in the High Castle” meets “the guns of navarone” amazing, I’m totally hooked.

A reread from my early teenager days, these are always tricky, but this one came though.

A light easy read from a past where the good guys had white hats on and minorities were the guys that served your tea.

I have no recollection whatsoever why this ended up on my to read list.

It’s definitely not my usual kind of book, but I newer hurt anyone to push some boundaries and I usually finish the books I start.

That said, it’s beautifully written with much insight and caring for the characters and a joy to listen to.

imaginative but still .... meh...

I'm not sure why (maybe because i just came from rendezvous with Rama) but it's like it's all been done better before.

a wild ride, mixing several genres but consistently well crafted.

Brilliant and yet so different from Norwegian Wood or the Rat

Classic sci-fi at it's best - as usual so many details i hadn't noticed the first time i read it.

Good old fashion action sci-fi like Harry Harrison or Early Heinlein, just as good as i remembered it.

Probably only grasping 50 % of it but even that is interesting

Beautifull production of one of my favourite stories

Still interesting - Werewolfes, shapeshifters, magic and timetravel, what's not to like.

It's a slow burner and maybe dvells to much on some details, but it's slowly growing on me.

Amazing - trust Mieville to come up with a totally mindblowing concept of two cities ovelapping and at the same time atypically placing it in our own time in a country that could be close by in europe.

After keeping the tone rather civil up to now, this is where Mitchell loads off a salvo of racism, intolerance and pure stupidity. I was very tempted to fast forward for a while.

War is closing in on atlanta and even Scarlett is starting to realise the realities of war.

Somehow the Tv-show "sidney Reily ace of spies" keep popping into my mind, probably because it's my only other encounter with the time around the russian revolution.

Definately interesting enough to keep me rading on
