DNF at 16 %, Benfords writing style is infuriating and in the I couldn’t care for the story or any of the characters

Amazing, it must be 10 years since I read “the Prefect”, but John Lee’s fantastic narration brought me back within a few minutes.

Slightly disappointing- in my process of reading all the real Poirot novels, I have deliberately skipped short story collections, but this one posed as a novel…just as I expected Poirot’s meticulously way of sifting through the details doesn’t fit the short story format well.

Amazing - I feel a 5 star review coming up
Stephenson is simply in a class of his own

Continuing in the same impressive style and pace as "the Rook" told from a different angle, but unfortunately with quite a lot of repetition from book 1

What can i say - It's John Irwing :-)

Irwing as we know him, even though each book is distinct and brilliant, it's still a little like all the novels are port of one long John Irving tale.
The narration by Joe Bartlett is amazing

It's definitely not romanticising life in the wild west - this is bleak, gloomy and probably very realistic.

It’s kind of trash, I’m wondering whether it’s meant as a “serious” sci-if novel or an ironic tongue-in-cheek reference to the genre, but it’s also entertaining and fun

Surprisingly good (even though it's still outside my comfort zone) it's description of a group of misfit's living outside normal laws and norms reminds me a little of the Danish writer Jørn Riel and his Greenland tales

Part of my “reading outside my comfort zone” challenge, so far the writing is amazing, going to be interesting to see the story evolve

Amazingly good, given the b-movie cover, Harrison really knows his stuff

After a longer pause i managed to get though a few stories that dragged and are now enjoying the last stories in the collection

Still amazing - especially the casual and in places funny way he manages to describe the most outrageous and despicable actions and events.

Amazing, the narrative is like watching an artist on a unicycle juggling 10 balls at once, you're waiting for it to collapse any moment, but the skillful artist keeps it together and makes it look easy at the same time - it's also quite funny :-)

Still amazing - Vinge just effortlessly add layer upon layer in his worldbuilding

Brilliant - I loved Adrian Tchaikovsky's spiders in children of time, but Vinge was there first and just as innovative.

Highly enjoyable - I know most of the tales from my school days and the brilliant danish cartoon Valhalla, but the narrative here is more mature and coherent

Some years ago, i would have read this as a testament to how paranoid people where during the Cold War, now with Putin, Trump and Xi Jinping I’m not so sure

Cody Riggs pick up the Gauntlet from his father Kyle and continues the fight for humanity, it's action paced and quite entertaining

My first Paolini, so I did not know what to expect, so far it’s amazing, hard to put down action paced space opera

Seems like Mortimer is far more interested in the history of England in the middle age, that the story he’s writing, I will put this aside for now and maybe complete it another day.

Amazing and far more engaging, even funny at places, than his earlier books
