So annoyed that it’s Easter vacation and I won’t be commuting for 10 days and therefore won’t be progressing on this.

So as it’s impossible to find a decent audiobook version of this (tried 2, both horrible and one was even read by the author ) I’m starting on the kindle.

And so far it’s interesting

Got the car back from the repairshop and back on the road with Sherlock.

Still a little surprised, after seeing an immense number of Jeremy Brett and other adaptations on TV, that there are so many of the original stories i didn't know beforehand.

Stephen Fry still does a marvelous job

At a probability rate of 1:1000000 i totally love this book, even the 4. or 5. time around.

I still get a kick every time Marvin makes his miserable appearance.

One of the classics we all have read but don’t really remember.

Stephen Fry’s masterful adaptation is a brilliant occasion to really listen to the original and it’s marvellous.

A scandal in Bohemia - most known for introducing Irene Adler but also a small masterpiece where Holmes for once are bested.

The Red Headed League - another little gem, one of the stories I remembered more or less fully.

So after several false starts I finally decided to move to the audiobook instead and what a change, the story just flows ahead, it’s a little like The Wheel of Time only well written and edited.

I’m a grown man and not actually afraid of anything but I really detest spiders

But the story is brilliant anyway

I simply needed some thing to get my mind of the Parable of the sowers where I’m stuck midway. Coelho is probably a good place to lift the spirit.
