Second measure completed, this had an almost Ray Bradbury feel about it, just replacing Mars with Britain in another reality

Well crafted

First story diamond dogs completed. The short story form suits Reynolds well, of course it's easier when setting the story in a well known universe with no need to make any world building.

Even more captivating than the first volume, of course it helps that we know the gallery of persons by now and I at least find teenage/adult problems slightly more interesting than growing up stories.

Only small complaint is a growing number of scenes which are drawn out or repeated without really adding to the story.

Even better than the first volume, it's more mature and grown up. The narrative is tighter as well

Definitely NOT Harry Potter ! I was a little worried, as there are so many rip offs out there. But this novel creates its own take on the Wizard School genre, it's well written and quite catching

Second time around and this time, as it has become habit with mieville as audiobook. My first impression is a strange mix of Gaiman's neverwhere and Eco's Foucalts pendulum, it's quite entertaining and somewhat lighter than other Mieville books I've read.

Interesting view into a Italy which at times seem as alien to me as today's radical Muslims, the story is slow going but catching enough to keep me hanging on

Some of the best Silverberg to date, I have just completed the first of the three original novels which makes up this collected night wing novel, and it's absolutely wonderful, the post-apocalyptic mood is brilliant described, up there with Clarke and Jack Vance

Excelent, and the Best part is that there are at least two books more
