A orphan living with an Aunt who despises her, an overweight son who's adored by the aunt and a bully.... wonder if J.K.Rowling ever read this one

Captivating and a little disturbing

It's like King has revitalized the series with the last and especially this volume.

the story is masterly structured around a past and a present track, which are beginning to come together at this point.

A decent story but not what I’m interested in at the moment. Back on the long list shelf.

Captivating even though some things seems aged, the overall concept are strong.

Can’t believe I never read this before

This is terming into a solid series, still Strange though that the Alex Benedict series only have Alex as main character in the first volume.

Just as well, another strong competent female character is very welcome.

Incredible when a follow-up to one of my all time favourite movies can match the original and even add new layers to the story.

A really enjoyable read, McDevitt knows his craft, this third volume seems stronger than the second, it’s like the series has found its form.

Still pretty good, maybe a little to YA for my taste, being 53 it’s not always easy to connect to a immature teenager just out of school

It’s a pleasant read, the story flows effortless and are well constructed.

As someone being a teenager in the eighties there’s a lot of cool references.

Entertaining and interesting, maybe a little heavy on the explanations.

I still full of admiration of how effortless Stephenson manages to cover such a variety of topics and still keep a cohesive narrative.

This only gets better second time around and it's probably not the last time I'm listening to it, the audible production is impressive as well.

Sometimes it’s nice just to lean back and relax in the capable hands of an author who knows his craftsmanship.
