I have been reading this in eBook form and think I am going to buy it in paperback to finish. There is just something about the story that is begging me to hold the paper in my hands. Great story so far, intriguing and a bit foreboding. Will return to in later.

Slow going but very interesting so far. This is going take me a while to read but that is A. Okay!

Foolish me once again thought J could srtart a Karsak story before bed with no consequences. Bwhahaha, not so I've had no sleep, gave been Turing the pages like my life depends on it and enjoying every moment! If you read and loved Shield Maiden you will love this too.

Hum... so far this is completely different then I thought it was going to be. I was expecting a thriller/horror story and so far it is more high school best friends romance with a dark back story. I will see from here...

It is good so far, not great like I expected from all the five star reviews. There hasn't been much action and I am wanting more magic/supernatural. I do enjoy the authors writing style so far and the characters are really great.

I'm DNFing for now. It's just very repetitive without any forward movement.

Interesting, I like the play on Red Riding hood/Beauty and the Beast. Is reads fast but also repetitive at the same time, or, rather lack of forward movement. The author definitely has talent. 4 stars so far.

This reads like a magical tale I am being told my a grandparent around the fire. Mix of history, mythology and magic. Addictive and stunning.

Fantastic story so far, but the content warning didn't mention animal harm and while short mentions there have already been two instances that were difficult to read and hurtful to me. FYI.

Very interesting take on the story, great world and characters. I think this is going to be heavy on the world building which it fine by me. Great writing.

This is a really cute, sweet almost lighthearted story. Fun to read and very enjoyable. Looking forward to the rest.

I didn't know this was going to be a funny book. I thought this was going to be a dark beastly romance. Fun so far, easy read. Kind of a weird version of Beauty and the Beast meets Elle Enchanted. LOL.

Damn, this woman can write! So, so happy to be back in my favorite series.

Shadows and a very strong Beauty and the Beast storyline. A wolf and a cranky Lord. Not much else yet, no Gothicness yet but great story. Easy read.

Triggers: Human trafficking, child endangerment.

I'm more interested in the characters, their history and their lives then the actual mystery. I think that's a first for me.

I saved this book to read because I thought it was going to be emotional, well it's not. It might be my least favorite Bink story and I am bummed. I like it, just not in love with it.

This might be my favorite story yet from Nikki. Grace is awesome!!

Good, lost some of it's charm. A bit slow, not a lot happening.
