I didn't even read the synopsis for this before requesting it because I saw the name Stephen Chbosky. I never read horror so it's been interesting so far and I don't know if I'll end up liking it, but it definitely is a page turner. I hope it continues to be that way because I didn't realize it's 700 pages long

I received this by chance in an ARC box and immediately thought I would put it in a donation pile, but I started it on a whim after reading its description, and I read half of it in one sitting.

my dumb ass knows nothing about greek mythology so every chapter in this book is like a plot twist even though it's millennia-old knowledge

so are we gonna get a warner chapter that isn't a flashback, or what lol

i wasn't gonna read the novellas in this series but im realizing more and more that you actually miss a lot without them so i'm going back and crossing all the t's and dotting the i's. so far, this is just extra porn.

i had a dream last night about prince henry if that tells you anything about how much i’m liking this book so far.

I've had an absurdly anxious past week and I wanted to read but I didn't want something that required much mental bandwidth, so when I saw I had preordered this and hadn't touched it in months, I knew I just wanted something fun, cheesy, and steamy. and it is. not the best series by far but it certainly is distracting and the perfect mix of gaggingly corny lines and actually sweet/steamy moments.

i don't even need to finish this book to give it 5 stars

this book might have the strongest, most intersectional feminist female protagonist i've ever read in a book

ok what the actual fuck is this book? the writing is SOOO bad!!! im literally going to bed because it’s hurting my brain to read. it reads like an alien wrote a book about what they think human interactions are like; none of the dialogue or commentary makes sense. i went into this blindly but had to stop and read the synopsis to figure out what the hell was going on. wtf????? who ghost wrote this? were they on crack?

i read this all in one sitting last night and stayed up until 7 AM. Im so hooked!! i love christina lauren's ability to write such messy characters who are realistic and hilarious but still somehow make me envy them. this is definitely one of my new favs by them!

it's 3 AM but im debating not going to sleep until i finish this because IT'S !!!! SO !!!!! GOOD !!!!!!!! i'm convinced christina lauren can do no wrong because this book is so cute and funny and im already in love

this book is super intimidating and im having to push myself to pick it back up when i put it down even though it's not bad so far. it's just a bit dry in the chapters that we're not directly dealing with the main characters and their relationship
