i hate that this book has its cringe moments because it's one of the more heartfelt and believable romances i've read in a while. maybe a signal for me to stop reading tiktok monster romances

i was really into this but the hardback is massive and not wrist-friendly. i'm very happy the audiobook narrator isn't annoying because listening to it is such a good time!!

i would like to emphasize how BRAVE i am for reading a sci-fi/dystopian book with its own made up vocabulary and world building that was completely incomprehensible for the first few chapters

i cannot BELIEVE i found this for like 25 cents at a used bookstore and i'm only this far into it and yet im OBSESSED. if this stays as good as it is right now, five stars. fuuuulllllll five stars. and an entire trilogy afterward?????? i'm feasting as we speak

I was really enjoying this book at first and have tons of tabs in it, but the longer I read, the more I'm cringing at the dialogue. I'll stick through it because I think regardless it's fun and easy to read, but I doubt it'll be the 4/5 star book it was setting up to be at the start

i'm not enjoying this book so much that i facetimed bonnie and read the first chapter aloud to her to confirm that it's as cringey as i thought it was. but i'm sticking with it because maybe the smut will redeem it, and surely there's a reason why it's a goodreads choice award winner (??? we'll see)

if i don't find this on audiobook i'm going to DNF because i'm SOOOO BOREEDDDD!!! even their first sex scene was a snooze

i swear i've been reading this book since july but keep picking other things up because it's sooo long and full of history lessons and plot setup. i impulse bought the rest of the trilogy after reading book one in the series because i really enjoyed it, but my interest is sinking fast and i hope it picks up soon before i decide to abandon it and the series finale and just watch the show instead or something

this book is so good and im in such a life slump that i want to give it the effort it deserves, so i'm gonna read a few books to get myself back on track reading-wise then give it another go

I can’t believe I read half of this book in one sitting! I forget how quickly they go by with the pictures. Also, Ransom is probably the only author with the ability to create a cast of 10+ characters and yet I remember them all because they’re all so individually unique. It’s just so fun to read these, I don’t know why I waited a year!!

This is staggeringly average but I'm reading it by the recommendation of a coworker so i'm trying to find the good in it

don't ask me why i started this whilst also in the middle of 2 of my favorite books of the year. the answer is Because Reasons. (i like it so far, but it's one of those books where a character from the past gets transported to the present and i'm not a fan of the plot because it feels very silly and Enchanted the Movie to me. but it's nice to read some "classic" romance)
