10.5 All Fired up!I read The Egypt Game, by Zilpha Keatley Snyder.
I am fired up for a number of reasons: I am still friends with my best friend since we were 2, and we had a secret life as kids that we still share over 40 years later. One of my favorite books of all time is From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, perhaps the penultimate book about the secret lives of children.Finally, I am and always have been fascinated with Ancient Egypt, not unlike the main characters in this book.
