To help pass the time as we wait:

1. The Biggest Loser
Forever Amber - this actually intrigued me when I was looking at your TBR
The Winter Sea - I just finished this up today - solid 4 star, probably 4.5 but I need to mull a bit more.
2. Modern Family
Contemp - The Girl Who Chased the Moon - I love Sarah Addison Allen's work and this is probably one of my favorites
M/M - The One That Got Away - the man-whore (for lack of a better word) who falls for his friend
an a BDSM relationship - Come Monday
3. Channel Surfer
Honk If You Love Real Men: Four Tales of Erotic Romance
Mystery Writers of America Presents Death Do Us Part: New Stories about Love, Lust, and Murder - i'm reading this one right now and really enjoying it - true short stories and not fillers from other series.
4. Law and Order
Slightly Married - the first in Balogh's Bedwyn series - the last 2 books are my favorite, but they are all good
Some Girls Bite - my current UF series obsession - book 5 is due out this week and there was a killer cliff-hanger at the end of book 4, so I got to see what happens.
Dancing with the Stars
The Gargoyle - I know this was on your TBR, but its literary romance, for lack of a better word and the ending stuck with me for a while
Blindsighted - I didn't see many thriller/suspense on your shelves (but I did almost get lost in them) - so try Karin Slaughter out
6. That's So Raven
Anna and the French Kiss - I read this one the other month and liked it and unlike most YA, Anna is normal and her family is relatively so
Unwind - a YA Dystopian that I really liked and make me think
7. The Amazing Race
Canary Island Song - I picked this up at the library the other day, how about visiting the Canary Islands with me (off the coast of Africa), or we could try the British Virgin Islands with Swimming with the Dead
8. My Favorite Channel is
Sweet as Sin - have to admit that I've developed a crush on Gordon Ramsey and food shows this past year
or love me some sports - how about The Perfect Play (and bonus of having a hot guy on the cover!!)

Wow, so I'm torn as always. I remember you saying The Gargoyle was really good. I've been eyeing it for a long time. So, I think I'm going to go with the Gargoyle.
I'm going to try to get Forever Amber, The One that got Away and Come Monday in as well. Thanks Dee!!!! Yayyyyy!
I'm going to add anything you recommended thats new to me to my TBR. LOL

Wow! And I'm heading to a top of 32 celsius (90F)! It's so humid today, I'm struggling to think of snow... (Not that we get it here :). Best wishes Penney!

Totally agree...it's even longer considering that this month has 31 days. :(

Wow, so I'm torn as always. I remember you saying The Gargoyle was really good. I've been eyeing it for a long time. So, I think I'm going ..."
Gigi,
Come Monday is free right now on Amazon- grab it if you haven't already, it's so good!

I was taking a class in the City today (NYC) and an Australian classmate took some pictures when it started snowing. :)

1. The Biggest Loser - The Time Traveler's Wife - this is one of the few books, we have in common, that I read but you haven't :)
Stray - I wanted to read this for a long while now but couldn't settle for it yet.
2.Modern family - One Day - one of my favourite books which is the only book I have re-read. So can't resist to recommend it.
Sweet Surrender - You read and liked Maya Banks so you might give this a try, however my favourite in this series is the second book but you might want to start with the first book.
Broken - you have read and liked Megan Hunt and this one I really liked. a little depressing but definitely a good one.
3.Channel Surfer - Under Her Skin- this was in your TBR
Interpreter of Maladies - Read this a few months ago and it was a well written book if you enjoy short stories...
Vampire Mine - you read the previous nine books so might want to go on, it is considerably short.
4.Law & Order - Like we need anymore series to start ;)
City of Bones - you liked Cassandra Clare so why not give this a try.
Divergent - after liking Hunger Games a lot, I read this and find it quite similar and just as good.
Fifty Shades of Grey - considering you are enjoying erotic reads, this one was something I really enjoyed.
5. Dancing with the stars - Ok, it is always hard to go out of comfort zone...
Promises or A to Z- this is a M/M romance but nothing disturbing or too hard on feelings, I liked the second book which was also the second book in the same series better but many reviews are happier with the formal one.
Game of thrones - one of my favourite epic fantasy books (I don't like fantasy so that's rare) this may not really be out of your reading range as you have some fantasy there but with the incest, violent and sex all over the place it is for sure out of manys comfort zone ;)
6. That's so raven - Vampire Academy or Bloodlines - you liked Richelle Mead so why not give one of these a try
Anna and the French Kiss - liked it and looking forward to the next one!
7.The Amazing race - England - The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
India - Life of Pi
Alaska - How to Flirt with a Naked
Werewolf
8.My Favourite Channel is - Covet - as you fancy Ward and I like a PNR series (one of the very few tv shows I occasionally watch)
Pride and Pleasure - well I couldn't come up with more books in correspondence with what I watch because I am a serious F so this one was something I like to read ;)
Hope you can find something you like, it was really nice to wander in your shelves, my TBR suffers from it! IF you are not happy with what you get please let me know! I will try and do better...
Happy Readings....

I was taking a class..."
Yeah - most of us don't see it until we travel :) I first saw/experienced snow in Hyde Park, London...

I could complain about not getting my picks, but I am on so many drugs I may have just missed it! And I haven't made my picks yet either.... I will, just waiting for that small window between pain and wanting to close my eyes when I feel pretty good. First, I'm going to close my eyes though...

Yipee! I got back online. I'm going to be typing fast to get these picks posted for you. Let me know if you need different picks. I admit to only getting through a portion of your TBR (6000+ books!!!!).
The Biggest Loser Gone With the Wind or Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell.
Modern Family Sizzle and Burn
Channel Surfer The Crucible or A Tale of Two Cities.
Law and Order Both by Nora Roberts, either The Key Trilogy starting with Key of Light or the Sign of Seven Trilogy starting with Blood Brothers
Dancing with the Stars I don't see a lot of lighter reading on your lists so I can recommend just about anything by Jennifer Crusie, especially Bet Me or Agnes and the Hitman
That's So Raven I noticed Stuart Little on your TBR. It's a classic for a reason.
The Amazing Race. I so want to go to Ireland some day. Angela's Ashes.
My Favorite Channel is TCM. I love old movies. I've got 3 picks here...I wanted to give us more than 2 choices for a buddy read. The Godfather, Rebecca and The Thin Man.

Gigi wrote: "Whoooo hoooooo..."
Dee- Are you up for Sweet as Sin? I'd love to read that one as a buddy read. Love those tortured heroes.
Fran wrote: "Gigi wrote: "Whoooo hoooooo!!! Its christmas...its christmas!!! LOL

Oooh Fran! Thanks! I'm going`to get it now!

From their TBR/new to them
1. The Biggest Loser - A long book from your TBR - well War and Peace jumped out at me for obvious reasons, but another longish one I enjoyed would the the George R.R. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series, starting with A Game of Thrones. Enjoying those.
2. Modern Family - contemporary or alternate lifestyle - I enjoyed Gods Behaving Badly - funny and different...
3. Channel Surfer - short stories - I just finished Lori Foster's The Night Before Christmas - quick group of short stories to get you into the Christmas spirit if you wish...
From your read
4. Law and Order - I didn't see any J.R.R. Tolkien books in your library, they may be there and I didn't see them, one of my favorite series of all time...The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings - I also enjoy the Janet Evanovich - Stephanie Plum series, and the first one was one of the best...One for the Money
5. Dancing with the Stars - recently read Emma Donoghue's book Room- definately NOT Romance Reading material, if you read this one, would enjoy your opinion, I liked it...
6. That's So Raven - I am going to add this one to my TBR list - Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
Buddy Reads
7. The Amazing Race - I've enjoyed Phillipa Gregory's books so far and plan to read The Red Queen at some point...
8. My Favorite Channel is... this one was tough to pick because I don't know if I have many comedic books on my TBR list but anyhow, this one was described as witty, so I'll put Amor Towles book Rules of Civility on my TBR list as it looks good and has gotten some good reviews...
So that's that! Hope you can find something you might enjoy! Kimmy

Since your shelves are very heavy on M/M romance and not much else, I had a tough time choosing books for you but I came up with the following.
From YOUR TBR
1. The Biggest Loser:

2. Modern Family:

3. Channel Surfer: I will be reading this in November so if you'd like to do a buddy read on this one, I can do it.

From MY Read shelf:
4. Law and Order:

5. Dancing with the Stars: a terrific futuristic detective novel with a female protagonist. Set in NYC in the future (2058) but not science fiction. Excellent series.

6. That's So Raven:

Buddy Reads: I can't BR either of these as I've read them both.
7. The Amazing Race:
Alaska

8. My Favorite Channel: I don't have cable so netflix is my favorite channel. I like medical dramas like Grey's Anatomy and action movies.

Hopefully you will find something among these choices but if not, let me kn ow and I will repick for you.

Cool! As soon as I get it, I'll let you know. I'd like to aim for the next week if possible.

Wow, thanks for the recs! My TBR list grows longer with each of these monthly challenges. How am I going to pick? I ended up putting all on my TBR list, lol. I will probably read Soulless this month if you want a buddy read. I decided I should also read Hounded as it's the second month in a row it was on my recs. The suggestions from from October and November PIFMC are both great, hmmmmm, what else to choose.... the organizers sure do a great job with this group and these challenges! *clap clap clap*

I know that I only gave this three stars. But I was pissed off at the time for another reason. It really is some of the best fantasy you will ever read. fantastic!

just got your list ready... I enjoyed picking for you and since we have a lot of books in common, I'm hoping you'll find something good here, if not let me know and I'll get you something else.
From your TBR/new to them
1. The Biggest Loser – Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, big ass book but sooo good!
2. Modern Family – Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, one of my favorite authors, this is a funny and so so sweet story.
3. Channel Surfer – This series by Lisa Kleypas has only 2 books so it’s a short one, Then Came You features Lawless Lily, she’s a wonderful character!
From my read
4. Law and Order – If You Dare by Kresley Cole or Magic Bites by Ilona Lewis, both are really good.
5. Dancing with the Stars – Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh, very interesting series, I love Singh’s books.
6. That's So Raven – either Graceling by Kristin Cashore or the The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, I’m not a fan of YA but these two are awesome!
Buddy Reads
I have these books in my tbr so if you want to, I’m game!
7. The Amazing Race – Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn
8. My Favorite Channel is... – Untamed by Crystal Jordan.

Thank you Photojim,
These are some great picks. I was already going to read Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea for one of my challenges so that one is taken care of. I've been thinking about starting Naked in Death this series.
How about we try

Thank you for the picks Lili! I have to say at this point that Kiss an Angel is leading, but Magic Bites and Then Came You are calling me as well! And I have been wanting to start If You Dare forever.... Thanks again!

1. I usually hate this category because if something's been on someone's TBR for a long time, there's usually a reason, but since you've only been on here since April, maybe you just ha..."
Ok found more time to peruse your rec's; Will be listening to Grave Peril once avail from library, have put Vampire Academy as well as Flat-Out Sexy on hold as well. Wouldn't want to make you read Rachel Gibson again ☺. If you want to reread Flat out Sexy with me I can let you know when it becomes avail for me.
Have added to my ever growing TBR pileStranger, Bad Boys In Kilts, Nightwalker and I chose this Secret Ties instead of Forbidden Heat as it looked like from your review you didn't really like it but did like Secret Ties and would still meet criteria ~ prob won't get to these til the new year may be able to squeeze one into a dec challenge. Thanks again for all the great rec's!!

Thanks for the picks. I am planning to read 2 or 3.
Hard Evidence by Pamela Clare
Men Out of Uniform: Three Novellas of Erotic Surrender by Maya Banks
