Alexis (LexaReads) | 375 comments Here you go Regina Sorry I told you I'd do it last night and ended up lying, I had dinner out with friends instead :/ But! Here you go! I hope you find something here that you enjoy! I had fun going through your books!

1. The Lovely Bones This is a great read! I have friends that hate to read that loved this book. You won't want to put it down.
2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this was my favorite in the series! Seriously you need to finish it. If not that one you could also read Wild Card this was a great read. Very fast paced.
3.In Her Bed You have a lot of good looking men on your book covers ;) It was hard to choose, but I decided on this one because it also has a high rating.

From My Read
4. Beach Blanket Bad Boys I haven't read this, but I do enjoy quite a few authors in it, so I guess that will work. I didn't have any compilations. :/
5. Lonestar Sanctuary this is a a sexless book, but the story is really one of my favorites, I love this entire series. You can also read A Taste of Heaven.
6. Thirteen Reasons Why This is an amazing book. It's actually YA, but it's about a girl explaining why she commited suicide. It will make you think.
7. Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble Her books are picking up in popularity, but I'll still recommend her. This entire series is great. It's got everything, witches, vampires, fairies, werewolves, and more. Great reads.

Buddy Reads
8. Cheri on Top is a new one by Susan Donovan, she has some pretty great books and I haven't been able to check this one out yet. Let me know if your interested.
9. Key of Solomon I hadn't heard of this book until I saw it on your list and read the summary... it looks great and it has a high rating. I'd love to read this.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling Wild Card (Elite Ops, #1) by Lora Leigh In Her Bed (The Dragons of Challon, #2) by Deborah MacGillivray Beach Blanket Bad Boys by Linda Lael Miller Lonestar Sanctuary by Colleen Coble A Taste of Heaven by Alexis Harrington Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble (Jolie Wilkins #1) by H.P. Thank you for your suggestions! You caught your missing the country category long before I did so you're fine :) You have a lot of good ones and I'll probably try to read multiple books. I love Beastly I'm not sure why it wasn't in my read but that book is way better than the movie. Anyways I'll let you know what I read as I go!

I finally got your recs done, I hope you find something you like, other wise let me know and I will happily make new picks.
1. Pop
Dark Lover by JR Ward, after looking through your TBR I was shocked you haven't read this series. I hope to give you a push to try it. My fav series is Kresley Cole's IAD, but this is a close second in PNR.
Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. I read this on a whim and couldn't put it down. It was unlike anything I had read before. Hope you consider giving it a try.
2. Golden Oldies
Strictly picked the 2 books on your TBR that have been there the longest:
Body Master by CJ Barry
Shield's Lady by Jayne Ann Krentz
3. Rock
Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione
Surrender by Pamela Clare
MY READ Shelf
4. Classical
Angels of Darkness by Ilona Andrews. I cheated here because I haven't read this book because it comes out on October 4-but I plan to read it.
The Lady Most Likely...: A Novel in Three Parts by Julia Quinn. To make up for cheating on the first rec- I have read this and it was cute.
5. Country I do not read many books with cowboys. So I don't have much to choose from.
The Outsider by Penelope Williamson-I did really like this book, there is also a movie that was made because of this book.
Long Hard Ride by Loreli James. A little erotic cowboy action.
6. Adult Contemp
Decadent by Shayla Black. I saw Wicked Ties on your TBR from the same author.
The Surgeon by Tess Gerritsen. This is a gruesome mystery, that has been turned into a TV Series.
7. Indie
Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison. An urban fantasy series first book.
Buddy Reads I would be willing to do a buddy read on any of these if you want/able to.
8. Hip Hop
Lord of the Vampires by Gena Showalter
9. Jazz I have heard great things from members about these 2 books.
Riding the Storm by Syndey Croft
The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook

Happy Reading.

Thanks, Lacy. And please don't apologize - I didn't have those books on my Already-read list because I read them so long ago - long before I was a member of Good Reads! I will get the new Sarah Dessen and also look for the other Gayle Forman. I think I will start with one of the others, though, and I will let you know as soon as I decide--- so many good choices, I can't wait to dig in!

Autumn (sweetdenial) | 1471 comments Here we are Penney: girl,at last, phew!! I had a GREAT time browsing through your shelves, i added a couple of books to my TBR btw. :). If you cant find something that you want to read this month, let me know so i will re pick for ya! xoxox

ps: I really tried to find you a book with a dragon theme that was good and you hadnt read.. but uhh... not such luck there LOL!

Pop :

-Graceling I'm sure you have seen the hype apocalyptic themes have right now, and this book has been a constant favorite among broad readers.

-Practice Makes Perfect Julie James jumped to the stardom with her first comtep novel: "Just Sexiest man alive". "Practice makes perfect" has great ratings, and its a personal favorite of mine, because not only the characterization was great, but their interaction was really hilarious. The anticipation was better than the romance itself (IMO)

Golden Oldies:

-The Beauty Within: You are pretty good keeping a neat TBR unlike me..ahem! This book has been in your shelves for a little while. The premise was interesting enough to make me add it my own shelf :)

-Dirty: I always say that, when it comes to Megan Hart, you either like her or not. You`ve read her before, and liked it. I personally love love this book.

Rock:

hmmm there are so many to choose from with yummy covers, but i finally settled for this one.

-No Place to Run. This HOT series keep getting better, and you gave the first installment a high rating.

Classical:

I dont usually have books with several authors, that are good enough to recommend other than anthologies. However,Good Omensfits the bill here.

Country:

-Annie's Song: I have not read this book, but it has been recommended to me time after time because of the complexity and emotionality of the plot.

- Montana Sky: you have read quite a few Nora Roberts, this is one of the few cowboy books that i have read and enjoyed.

Adult contemporary

Hot Head: While browsing your shelves, i saw a couple of M/M books, this one is a very good one.

-Catch A Mate andSimply Irresistible while being different types of contemporary romance, they are equally fun to read.

Indie

-Fallen from Grace: it will definitely qualify as one of the best 2011 reads. There are so many underlined plots than the eye meets with this book, that it took me by surprise.

-Fifty Shades of Grey: you and I, recently added this book to our TBRs and it seems to have great reviews.

HIP HOP :

-Daughter of Smoke and Bone: i know you dont have this book on your TBR, but the premise, plus the good reviews, could be a book that we both enjoy.

- Jazz

-The Lost Recipe for Happiness. I was pleasantly surprised when we had this book in common, because i`ve always wanted to read it as a buddy read.

Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms, #1) by Kristin Cashore Practice Makes Perfect by Julie James The Beauty Within by Savannah J. Frierson Dirty by Megan Hart No Place to Run (KGI, #2) by Maya Banks Good Omens by Terry Pratchett Annie's Song by Catherine Anderson Montana Sky by Nora Roberts Hot Head (Head #1) by Damon Suede Catch A Mate by Gena Showalter Simply Irresistible (Lucky Harbor, #1) by Jill Shalvis Fallen from Grace by Laura Leone Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. Thanks again for the recs, KJ. I finally settled on definitely reading City of Bones. And I'm reading Succubus Blues as a buddy read with Lan-Dinh. I also wanted to try the book by Tanith Lee, but my library only has book 2 and 4 in that series. What's up with that? So, I think I'm going to try Divine by Mistake instead. I'm looking forward to trying some new authors!

Lili | 343 comments Hey Alyssa!,
Had a great time going through your shelves and picking your recs for this month… I’m very pleased with your list, I added some really, really good series so I hope you find something you like.
Happy reading!

From your TBR Shelf
1. Pop. Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh, Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning or Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost 5 *’s all of them.
2. Golden Oldies. A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole or Dark Lover by J.R. Ward, both are amazing series and you won’t get why were they on your TBR for so long.
3. Rock. I see you have a thing for great covers so The Darkest Hour by Maya Banks should fit right in.

From my Read Shelf
4. Classical. Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews (I read once that they’re husband and wife) or Forged in Fire by Trish McCallan, loved the first one and just added the other one to my TBR.
5. Country. Caine's Reckoning by Sarah McCarty. I’m not much into cowboys but this one looked interesting enough while browsing through your TBR.
6. Adult Contemporary. Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips or Vision in White by Nora Roberts , both are great books!
7. Indie. I’m not sure I understand what an “independent author” is but Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison has been on my TBR for a while, I’ve also had it recommended before so I’m guessing it must be good.

Buddy Reads
8. Hip Hop. A Lady's Lesson in Scandal by Meredith Duran if you want some historical romance or The Lost by Caridad Piñeiro if you’re in the mood for PNR.
9. Jazz. Masked by Moonlight by Nancy Gideon, I liked the cover and the reviews are good, if you’re game, so am I!

I hope you LOVE divine by mistake. It really is an amazing story. P.C Cast is better by herself (Not writing with her daughter no offense to her) A great storyline and romance is amazing. Very adult. It's a shame you can't read Wolf Tower, that one truelly is a good read but its hard to come by. That's really wierd they only have 2 or 4? Hah. Oh well you'll enjoy the goddess book. It's based off norse mythology I believe.

Alyssa (jynx66) | 52 comments Lili!

Thanks for the reqs! A lot of those look good! I've heard a lot about J.R. Ward, so I think I'll grab that one to start. I'll probably do a handful of others. (Or at least try to. XD)

I could do either buddy read if you'd like. I'm not sure how I feel about a series continuing with the same characters, but I'll give it a shot. I've read only 1 historical ever so I'd definitely be down for doing A Lady's Lesson in Scandal as a buddy read. I don't have it so I'd have to order it, but it sounds good.

Good Lord woman!
I've been trying to whittle down my TBR, but because of you I just added 3 more ;-p Lol! I put Hot Heads, Good Omens and Daughter of Smoke and Bone on my list, they all look really good. Officially, I've decided to read Fifty Shades of Grey for this challenge. Every time I look at it I get more and more intrigued so I'm looking forward to that read for sure. I had already planned to read The Lost Recipe for Happiness for the Oct Monthly challenge, so if you'd like to do a buddy read with me I'd welcome the company :)

Thanks for the recs!

Shell | 2 comments Zara, Wow you've a LOT of books on your TBR Pile. I'm very impressed! I hope I've found some good recs for you. If not, let me know and I can have another look see. :)

From Their TBR Shelf:
Pop: This is the beginning of an amazing series. I devoured each book when I got my hands on them. Magic Bites
Golden Oldies: This is such a good book! Several students of mine recommended it to me, and once I started it, I couldn't put it down. The next 2 books in this series are just as good. City of Bones
Rock: Can't go wrong with Sherrilyn Kenyon. The Hero, Kyrian, is one of my fav characters! Night Pleasures

Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

From Your Read Shelf:
Classical: I read this one for the Mageverse #1 (which was great). The other stories were interesting as well, not as good as the Angela Knight one, but still good reading.Hot Blooded
Country: This book is set in the gated woods of Fablehaven, inhabited by witches, trolls, and other magical creatures. My son reccommended it to me, and once I got it, I finished it in one sitting. Great read! Fablehaven
Adult Contemporary: While this is a "Young Adult" book, it has lots of the adult contemporary themes: Sex, drugs, gangs, relationships. Even better was the audio book. The Latino male narrator's voice is to die for! Perfect Chemistry
Indie: This series is so neatly marketed and it works well! You read the book, then it leads you to video links from the internet that are part of the story. You have to watch the videos to get a lot of the plot, but it's worth it! Skeleton Creek

Hot Blooded (Includes Carpathians, #14; Midnight, #4; Mageverse, #1) by Christine Feehan Fablehaven (Fablehaven, #1) by Brandon Mull Perfect Chemistry (Perfect Chemistry, #1) by Simone Elkeles Skeleton Creek (Skeleton Creek, #1) by Patrick Carman

layla is a picky reader | 667 comments Katie,
You have an impressive TBR and I kinda got lost there. We have only 112 books in common so I'm not really sure if you're going to like my picks. I read mostly PNR(with male and female leads) whereas you have tons of M/M romance. *sigh* Hopefully, I'm gonna hit on something!

From Your TBR Shelf:
1. Pop - The only books that we have in common that I read and thought they were 5 stars topper are those of Nalini Singh's. I saw that you read the first one and gave it a high rating so I'm going to recommend you to continue the series because it gets better and better. Visions of Heat is the second one.
Visions of Heat (Psy-Changeling, #2) by Nalini Singh

2. Golden Oldies
