A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away…May The Fourth Be With You! Challenge

Mod Trea was kind enough to share this from The Challenge Factory group. The Challenge Factory Member Lindsay IL suggested this challenge in 2016, saying "Ok, so I've been dreaming of a *STAR WARS* themed challenge. I posted the idea in a different group and it hasn't taken off (yet?) so figured I'd pitch it here as well. Could be a "May the Fourth Be With You" May/Quarterly Challenge...or just whenever because Star Wars is always fun. But here's the jist of what I was thinking...." Since she asked for one of the mods in The Challenge Factory to post the challenge, Mod Trea decided to make it a six months challenge and greatly expand it as well. We've decided to make it a year long challenge, and would like to thank The Challenge Factory for use of the challenge.

Duration: A year from start date.

Levels:

Padawan: 1-5 books
Jedi/Sith Apprentice: 6-12 books
Jedi/Sith Knight: 13-18 books
Jedi/Sith Master: 19-25 books
Complete all tasks in both the Spell and Scavenger Hunt categories: Become Ruler of the Galaxy!

Rules:
Players must follow directions in all sections in order to progress. They can choose to do just the spell challenges, just the scavenger hunt, or both. Books must be at least 100 pages in length to count for this challenge, except where noted. Titles or author names can be used for the spell out, but “a”, “an”, “and”, or “the” do not count when they start the title. Books can only be used for one task, even if they fit more than one task listed. Challenge is supposed to end one year from your starting date!

A) Spell Challenges: Choose Light side or Dark side and spell out the names of characters from that side of the force. Must choose at least two from a side or one from Light Side and one from Dark Side!
