I thought this was really enjoyable. I really liked Sarah and Chance, they were a cute couple. Sarah has had a rather unorthodox upbringing, being the oldest daughter of a renowned jewel thief. She lives a quiet life trying to help those around her. When Chance’s family diamonds are stolen he is referred to Sarah to help him figure out who stole them. I admit, the mystery element was a tad lacking, I wouldn’t have minded a bit more of the “who done it”. The relationship between Sarah and Chan

When Lord Chances mothers diamonds go missing, he employs the help of Sarah.
He never expected the task to bring them close, though.
Sarahs used to being overlooked, with her father ruining the family reputation, but working close together with Chance shows her just what shes missing. Too bad nothing could come from it.
Or could it?
Historical romance, suspense and smutty fluff in a great combo.
Read it as a part of When You Wish by Alexandra Ivy.

This book is the first of a trilogy called WHEN YOU WISH. My Free copy was authored by Alexandra Ivy not Debbie Raleigh which is Ms. Ivy's pseudonym. This is about Sarah, the eldest of the infamous Devilish Dandy's three daughters... Beautifully well~written, fun and rollicking Goodread. Smooth flow of the storyline, very enJOYable and very Entertaining.

This is a fun book, though a bit predictable. I must say that the whole mystery of the missing diamonds was pretty easy to figure out for me, but the rest of the book was still fun. I enjoy the character of the Devilish Dandy very much as the famous thief who, while not reformed per se, regrets the resultant effects on his daughters. The adventures of Sarah and Lord Chance, while not the most exciting ever, are interesting and follow a good romantic thread. I must say, there are some pretty good ...more

This was a cute read as far as the romance between Chance and Sarah, and I very much enjoyed following their tentative friendship bloom to romance.

However, the mystery aspect surrounding who stole the jewels was not only lacking, but it was also painfully obvious who the culprit was (which honestly made me wonder why it took them so long to get to the thief considering Lord Chance had already had a revealing conversation with his brother prior to Sarah speaking with him).

Overall, I do think fa

There are three stories in this book. The Christmas Wish, The Valentine Wish, and The Wedding Wish.

The first one is The Christmas Wish. This is Chance and Sarah's story. I want to start off with a quote I found funny and couldn't get out of my mind. "Certainly not. I would as soon believe cows could waltz." Love it! There is also a great mystery to solve. A race to find the missing jewels by Christmas. A great cast of characters including the Devilish Dandy.
