Task #30.5 - There Is No Frigate Like a Book
Book 1: Read a book whose cover shows a type of place where you like to read. I read We Need New Names by NoViolet Bulawayo, which has an airplane on the cover. I cannot sleep in/on any type of moving vehicle, so when I have to fly I make sure to load up LOTS of books.

Book 2: Read a book that shows a different type of place where you like to read. I love nothing more than a big beach read by the pool, so I read The Invaders by Karolina WaclawiakKarolina Waclawiak.

RE-POST #2620
Missing required detail. Symbol for chosen element on Periodic Table was not included in original post.

CEELEE
Task 30.3 It's Elementary
Two Book Task
Book 1 Read a book whose title , subtitle or series name contains the name of an element you have chosen from the Periodic Table.
I chose Oxygen whose symbol on the Periodic Table is O and its atomic number is 8.
I chose to read OXYGEN by Carol Cassella.
Oxygen
Book 2 Using the element you chose, read a book in a series based on the atomic number of the element.
Oxygen has an atomic number of 8. I chose THE HIPPOPOTAMUS POOL by Elizabeth Peters, #8 in her Amelia Peabody series. One of my favorite series and it is not a re-read.
The Hippopotamus Pool
This was a great task! I discovered a new-to- me author, read
from a favorite series, learned to properly spell "hippopotamus" and I will NEVER forget that Oxygen's atomic number is 8! Thanks for the fun reading experience! PS Also I learned to be careful to do better editing and make sure all the required details are present! :)
