5.10- Your Own 8th Wonder
Book of Choice -- René Magritte: 1898–1967
Although this book has many illustrations of Magritte's painting, there is definitely more than 100 pages of text discussing Magritte's style, art theory, and personal life. The book is oversized at 12" height x 9 1/2" width, so on the many pages where the page is entirely filled with text it is a bit daunting.

✿ book 1: a book with the name of a person in the title/subtitle that is the name of a character in the book
O Diário Secreto de Laura Palmer by Jennifer Lynch (★) - 216 pages
Here is a link to another edition, through the main page is easy to see the role of Laura Palmer in the book.
✿ book 2: a book with the name of a place in the title/subtitle where at least some of the plot of the book takes place in that specific named place.
Walden II: Uma Sociedade do Futuro by B.F. Skinner (★★★) - 316 pages
Walden Two is the name of the rural village where all the plot takes place. It can be checked here.
**I'd like a GO ticket since it was first published in 1948**
- books combined should have a total of at least 500 pages: book 1 + book 2 = 532 pages
