Another update for message 90. Just finished The Bloom County Library, Vol. 2: 1982-1984. This is book 2 of a 5 book collection of all of the Bloom County comic strips in the order they appeared in the newspapers. After more than 30 years, I still find these hilarious. Also a good reminder of what was going on in the '80s.

Anyway, I shall count this as one of the 24 books of series already started.

I started a series (and will not continue) - Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George. I must have read this book as a child, but I didn't remember, which means it didn't make much of an impression at the time. I appreciate George's description of life in the arctic and understand the sentiment behind her narrative. However, it bothered me that the story began in the middle and rather abruptly ended. I will not read the next book. 2.5 stars
