I have finished Outlander which is book 1 of the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. This is one of the series firsts I said I would read this year.21/63
And I have finished Nine Dragons. This is book 15 in Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series as well as book 3 of the Mickey Haller series. I am reading, and enjoying, both series. Anyway, this is a book to continue series I had begun prior to 2017.22/63

Just finished the 2nd book in the Witchland series - Windwitch by Susan Dennard. Overall, I liked this book and will keep reading the series. However, there were some major issues particularly at the beginning. There's a big difference between the author keeping the reveal secret from her audience and not being able to convey her key plot points. I felt there was a lot left unsaid in the book that made it much more difficult to enjoy. It got better towards the end, and I am still invested in reading the next book. Worth reading. 3.5 stars7/15

Completed another book in the Irish Country series - An Irish Country Village by Patrick Taylor. Enjoyable, light-hearted read! Not mentally taxing once the accent is conquered. Worth reading! 3.5 stars8/15

I have modified messege 301 slightly. I added 2 series I will finish, so that now becomes 9 for the year. And I have swapped Department Q by Jussi Adler-Olsen from a series start to finish to just a Book 1 and U.S. Civil War by Harold Coyle from just a book 1 to a series from start to finish. I dropped the number of books in series currently reading by 1 so the overall total is still 63. I have about 5 other series I am close to finishing and may add them later on, but I want to see how I am doing with these 63 first.Still at 24/63
