message 258: by Sheila (last edited Feb 23, 2016 10:22AM) (new)

Sheila (sheilaj) I just finished:

A Bitter Truth (Bess Crawford, #3) by Charles Todd A Bitter Truth by Charles Todd

I got my historical fix with this one.

and

Dark Places (Claire Morgan #2) by Linda Ladd Dark Places by Linda Ladd

Wowza instead of Lions, Tigers and Bears oh My, this one had spiders, scorpions and snakes oh SCREAM!

Very intense story of multiple murders and the extremely creepy way of carrying out those killings. Give me a good old gunshot or stabbing any day. A lot of the book is set at a very odd school as well. I just couldn't figure out who to trust in this one and I'll admit it has caused me to lose some sleep as well.

Great series.

Now I'm currently reading:

Murder Season (Lena Gamble, #3) by Robert Ellis Murder Season by Robert Ellis

and

Find Her (Detective D.D. Warren, #8) by Lisa Gardner Find Her by Lisa Gardner

The Woman in Cabin 10 was also a very good suspense/thriller.
Someone else read a Sophie Hannah book that she didn't like, but I like her Poirot series, the latest of which is Closed Casket. It is written in the style of Agatha Christie, and set in Poirot's classic time period.
