إن الحرية بالنسبة لهذا الجندي البسيط هي حالة من التوتر والانزعاج والقلق.. لا تحتمل.. لأنه ليس مسلحا بالأدوات التي تمكنه من الإفادة من هذه الحرية.. ليست لديه القدرة على حمل المسؤولية.. وليست لديه الكفاءة التي يوظف بها إمكانياته.. ولا الأهداف التي يخطط من أجلها.. ولا يعرف ماذا يريد.. ولا كيف يتصرف بحريته..
إن الحرية عنده بلبلة.. وضيق.. وخوف.. وعبء ثقيل يتمنى الخلاص منه..”
