Hi Bren, Following. 99.99% of my read books are library books and 95% are paper editions, only about 5% e-books or audiobooks. I think I've bought only about 1/2 dozen Kindle edition books over the years. I'll add to the list if I have anything to add. It looks as though there are some good books available.

Thanks Lisa. Abso;lutely..I just started using Kindle last year but have saved so much. Even some that are not free are low in price..I still do regular books too..cannot do my library because honestly? Selection is not to good..they are small.
Bren, I’m terrified of ending up somewhere without an adequate library or any library. Mine is far from the best but it’s pretty good.

I read mostly library, but Kindle is so handy at times, it's just been hard to find cheap books on it (that I want to read). Now I can just follow this list!
Lisa wrote: "Bren, I’m terrified of ending up somewhere without an adequate library or any library. Mine is far from the best but it’s pretty good."I hear you. Mine is a cute library with cool people but selection is pretty bad. I stopped going because honestly I was only reading books I did not really have an interest in. It just didn't pay.

I really have found some gems on Kindle though there were some bad ones too..hope you read some good ones.

Keep an eye out for my next review..the title especially..and it is on this free Kindle list!
I did add a book, one so far, with a reason, but I don't know if others can see the reason???"I'd read the first 3 of the 4 books as paper editions borrowed from the library. This 4th book in the series was translated into English only as a Kindle edition so I did buy it." for Open Sea by Annika Thor

I don't think they can but thanks for adding! The more the better.

Too bad that the notes cannot be seen.

I agree. But with this list, people can add to their to reads and know the books will not be expensive and some will be free. I already added some goodies. I hope more books are added.
Doesn't Kindle change prices though? Sometimes they have deals for free or for $1.99 but then some go back to regular prices?I paid $3.99 for the book I listed. I know I've also paid $1.99 and .99¢. My library also has some Kindle editions for free but not many.

Yes they do. That is just a risk. I created the list with the assumption that could happen but that most of the books listed would still be, at the very least, pretty inexpensive or free.
Some may change but with so many listed everyone should be able to find things they like that wont have changed.
All that makes sense, Thanks, Bren. the list is definitely a good resource. It's too bad each member can list only 100 books. You and others could add more books in the comments, I suppose.
