Friday, 5th March -- Okay, guys, here we go:
One night after a couple had retired for the night, the woman became aware her husband was running his hand across her shoulders, down her spine, to the small of her back, then over her chest, touching very lightly. Then he ran his hand gently down her sides, sliding his hand over her stomach, then down the other side to below her waist.
He continues on, gently feeling her hips, first one side then the others, kept going further south. By this time the woman was becoming aroused. Then her partner stopped abruptly and rolled over to his side of the bed.
She whispered, "Why are you stopping, darling?"
AND HE SAID ---
First person to get the correct answer gets a book.
What a fun start for the lip of the weekend -- It's a fine day in my neck of the woods, sunny, high of 60, which means a nice loop walk, maybe 2 miles. Where are you walking today? Wherever you go, snap some pictures to post here so I can see what you are.
It's up to you to outsmart wily March -- still too cold to go outside? So, what do you do inside? Make it a dedicated 30 miles of nigh focused activity, okay?

Thursday, 4th March -- The first snake says to the other, "Are we poisonous?"
The second snake says "Yes, why do you ask?"
And Joni Knierin was the first one to get it exactly right with: The first snake says, "Because I just bit my tongue."
Lots of you got it or got near the answer, but Joni was the first.
Did you hear about the deal the NFL is doing with Amazon? Check it out and KNOW that Amazon will some day rule the world.
Everyone's getting their shots, after effects really vary, but whatever you have to experience, it's of course worth it.
Okay, no whining, no slackering (new word), get your butts in gear and DO something really physical, mowing the lawn, running in place, rowing on a rowing machine, skipping and dancing down the street -- promise me you'll be active for at least an hour -- REALLY active.

Wednesday, 3rd March -- okay, guys: One snake says to the other, "Are we poisonous?"
The other snake says, "Well, sure, why do you ask?"
WHAT DOES THE FIRST SNAKE SAY?
Whoever gets that the fastest, gets a book --
It's once again mid-week and if you look closely, you'll see that light at the end of the tunnel -- Prediction now is every adult will be vaccinated by the end of May! What with J&J now distributing, it will go faster and faster since they're only one shot. So even though you will continue to wear your mask and social distance, you're nearly ready to go -- It's wonderful -- vaccinated people are safe from you and you're safe from them. BIG YEA -- Let me add, kids under 17 -- it's estimated they'll be all vaccinated by the end of July. Again, the more of us vaccinated, the sooner herd immunity will kick in -- It's all good. Many of you have said you want to come to San Francisco, see the beautiful scenes you see in my photos -- soon, soon -- start checking out things now -- ain't that fun!?
I'm outside today, probably Cavalla Point -- and no, don't join me spiritually, get outside and find your own path today and post photos, maybe a selfie of you in front of a bunch of trees, grinning from ear to ear.
Go Warriors!

Tuesday, 2nd March -- March is such a strange month, mysterious, always ready to take you off guard, at least for me. Maybe it's winter or wrong -- how about some spring or sometimes in the South, it can be summer for a while. It's starting out very nicely here in Sausalito -- sixties and sunny, which means, of course, we're begging for some rain. Gotta make nice with the weather minions.
Remember, when you tell me what's happening in your are, please be sure to tell me WHERE you are exactly, otherwise, I'm betwixt and between and go duh.
Got a cool announcement for you: THE EDGE -- the 4th thriller in the FBI series is up for an amazing price of only $1.99 for ONE DAY ONLY -- TOMORROW -- I wondered why only one day and I got an answer, but alas I don't understand. Maybe it has something to do with Mercury in retrograde or the sun shooting off too many rays --
Everyone, if you haven't read it or want it in ebook, this is the best deal in the universe.
I bet lots of you are ready and eager to get outside with your critters or maybe your other half or maybe a dog you borrowed from a neighbor -- go forth and move those arms and legs, get your blood flowing, get your heart pounding, feel the strength of your own body -- all good.

Monday, lst March -- I always think of the March hare when this month rolls around. Who knows where that came from? A poetry festival in NewFoundland?
Another week begins and here we are, still frigid in some parts of the country and perfect in other parts -- whatever nature tosses your way this month, you can handle it. Who has pets who love the snow? Who has pets who would rather chew off their paw nails than go outside when there's all that white stuff on the ground?
Do you know Peyton and Eli have never seen snow? I wonder what they'd do.
Today, work, of course. It's really strange -- I've hit a roadblock and keep rewriting to get this one character to go where I want him -- well, it's obvious to me now (after 4 tries) that he doesn't want to go this way and has told me very stringently to go shove it (well, he's a bit more crude in my head, but I don't want to be indelicate with you guys) So, now, I have to figure out what he wants, not what I want. Please cross your fingers for me -- sometimes characters are the very devil --
It's outside in the glorious world for everyone -- if the weather is crappy, put on lots of layers, an umbrella if needed -- and walk somewhere, doesn't matter, just get out there and MOVE.

Saturday, 27th February: Okay, first vaccine shot: just a slight injection site soreness, nothing more. The second shot, Wednesday a.m., then Thursday evening, there was swelling around the injection site and soreness at the injection site an I was like super cold for a couple of hours, No fever, then fine. So, if you're worried, don't be. It's a piece of cake given the alternative (as many of you have pointed out) If you're down and out for a day or two, again, keep the purpose in mind and the pay-off.
It's gorgeous out, high today 64 degrees. The Cantina in Mill Valley -- LUNCH today, then maybe a hike, we'll see.
Did everyone do some exercise yesterday? Don't lie to me, I'll know it, the exercise minions in your area will text me and rat you out in a nano-second. If you were a slacker yesterday, today you must do something, despite what the winter weather is like. Stationary bike? treadmill Up and sown the stairs a dozen times? Walking to the mailbox a dozen time? The gym? hear they're safe enough now particularly if you're careful (mask and social distancing and maybe wear some surgical gloves, and you've been vaccinated -- if you can, get OUTSIDE and soak in the rays. It's a glorious day, cold or hot weather, who cares?

Friday, 26th February -- Can you believe it? February's nearly in the rear-view. Amazing.
I hope all of you have wonderful plans for the weekend -- eating out and hiking -- what more could you ask.
Oh yes, DARK MATTER -- I've seen all three seasons (the fourth is coming) -- it's addictive -- give it a shot and let me know what you think.
Everyone, big smiles today as you walk and talk to neighbors and strangers -- Keep the faith, things are turning --

Wednesday, 24th February -- This morning I get my second shot -- YEA! I hope everyone who hasn't gotten shot up yet is on a list and waiting, if not -- go online and see what's available and where in your community.
Yesterday was such fun, lunch at The Cantina with Friends -- I mean actual friends, in person, to talk to, to laugh, share news -- really perks up life.
Today is work as usual -- What about you guys? Other than your daily walking and stretching and bis and tris and abs, what are you doing that'll make you positive and pleased with yourself?

Tuesday, 23rd February: Just heard this one: You know you're a redneck if you mow the grass and find a car. All right, I can hear you chuckling, so you get another: You know you're a redneck if you believe the stock market has a fence. Okay, I'm all out of redneck jokes. Any jokes, redneck or Yo Mama or whatever, let's have them.
Yea -- Texas is now on the mend -- I've heard from relatives and friends and they've taken a deep breath and forged ahead. Amazing -- all this and Covid too.
It's going to be 75 degrees here today -- no, really, no assassin -- this is very unusual and for only today -- but it does mean no jackets and eating outside with friends. Of course, none of this is new to those of you in Florida who enjoy summer year around.
Today, work, of course, then outside to the pier, smelling the mix of fish and sweet air. And watch everyone doing the same thing -- enjoying the lovely weather gift.
Today, you definitely want to do arm rolls -- arms straight out at your sides, and bend your hands back and roll slowly back and forth say 12 X 3. This is great for bis and tris, so don't shirk, make it a part of your pre-bed habits. And for the waistlind, guys and gals, touch hands above the head and back down, then up again, say 12 times, then do one arm at a time to hit your lats.
Outside, folk, if you're able --

Saturday, 20th February: I want to hear two things from you guys: l) the weather is turning, finally, and 2) you're signed up to get the vaccine.
Those of you who've had problems signing up for the newsletters -- there are myriad reasons that I won't go into (provided to me by my web master) so to those few -- I've emailed you the newsletter and will sign you up myself. Also, to cover all bases, I'll post the newsletter on this page next week.
It's CANTINA day -- I received a gift certificate for the Cantina and will begin using it today. It's sunny here, high of 60, a bit chilly to eat outside, but with the heaters they have around and a jacket, it's fine. How about you guys not snowed/iced in? Indoor dining? Or still only outdoor? When you tell me the Covid situation in your are, please TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE. Actually, this is good whenever you talk about the weather too.
I get my second shot next Wednesday -- I've heard people get sick (fever, chills, weakness, generally feel like crap for a couple of days) or there's nothing at all. I plan on nothing at all. And when you have your shots, that's what you plan on too. Yes, I'm a proponent of positive thinking.
Okay, time to call your family members today -- at least THREE different family members. Make the promise RIGHT NOW.
Good --

Halloween's coming up fast, the day the zombies burst out of the ground and terrify the crap out of us, not to mention eat our candy and eat our brains.
Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
