Tuesday, 14th June -- WARRIORS WON LAST NIGHT -- 104-94 -- For the first time since 2018 Curry didn't shoot a single three pointer. But Wiggins was fantastic -- It's so odd who's got the "magic" and who's lost the "magic" AS game by game thing. Now it's Boston Thursday night -- Hope All of the Warriors have a bit of magic then, if they do, it's the Championship.
It's hot hot hot here, 78 degrees -- and of course since we're leaving VERY early Thursday morning, bad stuff is going on, sigh. So if you happen to think about me in a fleeting moment, say a little prayer that all works out. I'd really appreciate it.
Bike for me today, like yesterday -- My spirit is available on loan to you when you walk. Whatcha say?

Thursday, 2nd June -- Okay, folks, tonight's the night. ALL OF YOU WHO DON'T LIVE IN BOSTON, You absolutely must watch the game tonight -- Game 1 of the finals -- here in San Francisco. I WANT TO HEAR YOU SHOUTING AND JUMPING UP AND DOWN and EATING NACHOS. Okay? Can I count on all of you? (Except those from Boston)
Another perfect gorgeous day, high in low 70s and sunny and still no rain. The hills are turning gold, which is pretty but it would be nice to have green until August. Our reservoirs are still nice and full, but I worry about the trees and plants and the farmers in central California.
Out today, it's June, primo time for fun in the sun (don't forget sunblock) -- I like your plans, but I want to hear more.

Wednesday, 11th May -- My precious Eli died peacefully at home yesterday with all those who loved him around him. I will always think of him as the defender of Sausalito from the faux Fido pirates and picture him meeting his brother Peyton in Heaven, both strapping on their cutlasses, just in case. It was his 13th birthday. We will all miss him and he will be in our hearts until ours give out.

Thursday, 5th May -- Happy Cinco de Mayo!!! It's the day of the super-sized margarita, the glass so big you can dive right in and drink your way out. And don't forget the little taquitos that are so small you can eat a good dozen without breaking a sweat -- and you don't want that swimming pool margarita on an empty stomach. So if you haven't already, call your friends, your family (If they're fun) and go celebrate.
Don't forget the chips and salsa!
This is very bizarre -- I posted a photo yesterday and it's on Instagram but alas, nothing here on Facebook. I'll post it again today and see what happens.
Everyone, do leg lifts, arm rolls in the bathroom mirror and put on those sneakers. You don't want to face a a day of celebration without being nice and sweaty with virtue flowing off you.
Don't forget the chips and salsa!

Wednesday, 4th May -- I woke up early this morning, asked Alexa what time it was and groaned. But wide awake. What can you do? Well, I got up and got with it. So this is on the early side for me, but it feels nice to talk to everyone just as the sun is creeping over Angel Island.
The Warriors lost night night -- a couple of really dirty plays with the result that Gary Peyton is out, I don't know how long. One of the Grizzlies was ejected from the game when they'd played only about three minutes. He walloped Draymond Green (he went back to locker room, got stitches, came back) Sigh
At least the next two games are here at Chase Center. Will it make a difference? We'll see.
Going out to Sebastopol to meet friends for lunch. Been a long time. Sebastopol is out in Western Marin, near the ocean, very beautiful and very rural.
Then of course a lovely hike, don't know where yet. How about you guys? When you're out today trudging up nice steep inclines don't forget to snap some photos.

Thursday, 28th April -- The Warriors won the first round last night against the Denver Nuggets -- boy, was it close, Nuggets leading a great deal of the way then Curry put the team on his back. He is amazing. Don't know yet who we play next, we'll see. Ended up 4-1 against the Nuggets.
Already it's Thursday, where did the first three days go? You got me. Time isn't the same all the time, I swear it isn't. I guess that means I'm having too much fun, doing too many exciting things -- ha -- work and hiking. Any philosophers out there want to chime in?
I really liked your song suggestions. The Cindy Lauper, Girls Just Want to Have Fun -- now that one makes your hips move and your feet are dancing around and you're singing at the top of your lungs and you feel good. Yeah, let's all sing that today when we're walking.
There are still a few of you with snow hanging around and thirty degrees and that's really unacceptable. So what to do about it? Philosophers? Are you out there, ready to spew forth answers?

Thursday, 14th April -- Hey, all you Superior Chanters and Dancers -- It's raining!!! I don't know how much we'll get, but it's all chilly and the sky is gray and gloom has settled over the land. No hike, but that's not a problem, I have my bike, now called my rain bike. So thank you.
Thursday, a perfect day, a day for excellent news (you'll know it when you hear it) and spaghetti for dinner with lots of Parmesan and garlic toast No vegetables, that's why veggie pills were invented. And how about a Boston Cream pie for dessert? Do I hear cheers and yeas? Here's to gloom!
Lots of work editing today and that's such fun, but it takes lots of checking things out online and making sure when I twist the mostly likely historical truth I have convincing reasons.
So, it's a banner Thursday -- how about lunch with a good friend? Lunch with mom or sis?

Thursday, 7th April -- Yikes and more Yikes: It's going to be 82 degrees here in paradise. I notified the weather minions in the Ca. region that this is unacceptable and what ARE THEY DOING? I await a reply. Yes, I'm wearing not short, but pants that come to your knee and a top that weighs about 2 ounces (A burnout).
I'm enjoying hearing about your Easter plans. If you don't have any, then THINK about what you can do to make the special day important and fun and uplifting. Friends? Groups? Come on, you do not have to be alone on Easter.
I've got to find shade for a hike today -- I mean, walking in the sun when it's roasting? Can you imagine walking around in Las Vegas and it's 114 degrees? As Gaffigan says, you can hear the sun.
Despite the heat, the body needs movement, so give it what it wants? Okay? No excuses, because your body is the most important body in the universe.

Tuesday, 5th April -- Another beautiful day in paradise. On the other hand, this paradise really needs RAIN, so please, some dancing and some chants should do it.
With regard to adding five years to your life -- go online and and ask for exercises, stretches -- You'll FIND EVERYTHING. Discipline, do your body work every day at the same time, if you can. And do you know what? If you're virtuous, you can take one day off!!!! My day is usually Sunday.
Working on the Grayson Sherbrooke novella -- it took a really strange turn yesterday and this morning, I don't think it's going to work. It's too much -- I only have about 5,000 words left so I have to get with it.
A little singing is called for. Hor about Happy Days are Here Again ---

Wednesday, 30th March -- Do you know what? This month has seemed like it would never end.. On and on and on -- on top of hanging around forever, this month produced less than an inch of rain for us. I think some discipline is in order. But how do you discipline a month hides among the sheep and the lions? How do you make it behave like it's supposed to? No idea --
I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to celebrate today -- I'm more than halfway through the 6th Grayson Sherbrooke novella, the weather is perfect for walking/hiking, and maybe, just maybe there'll be a resolution in Ukraine that will stop the killing and destruction. I do have a question though: why haven't we, the United States, welcomed more Ukrainians to the U.S.? Only one hundred thousand I heard and there are millions. What do you think?
Well, it's off to work I go -- things are really getting weird for Grayson but like always I'm not sure what will actually happen. We'll see --
Walk today, no excuses, well, if you've got ten feet of rain or snow or ice, then it's the stairs, 12 times, up and down, okay?
