I love my leopard catnip worm - Cleo

Hello Everyone:

Hard to believe February is gone, simply over never to return. I spent two weeks in Kentucky basically off the planet and out of time, so it passed me right by. I'm back home now, finished doing the editor edit of BACKFIRE (the 16th FBI). So now it's on to the next FBI saga. Unfortunately I can't even remember the half-assed plot I'd started, so it'll be brain rebooting for me.

Hi, Everyone:

This new year -- 2012 -- THE year that -- what? I mean, as opposed to 12011, what is going to be different about 2012? You Mayan calendar experts, please tell me exactly what you believe the Mayans said was going to happen. Enlighten me on Facebook, (Facebook.com/CatherineCoulterBooks). Or email me at ReadMoi@gmail.com. If you're really good, your explanation will be SHORT. If I think yours is the best, I'll give you official credit and a book of your choice (one of mine, naturally).

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to Everyone:

My last newsletter for 2011. I will not remark upon the supersonic passing of the past twelve months --- I mean, is there anything I can do about it now? I can hear all of you saying, move along, CC, tell us something moving, maybe something spiritually uplifting, something about all the Christmas presents you wrapped by the middle of October, how you've got a huge smile on your face, ready for the third Christmas party tonight. Actually tonight, we're the dessert/champagne/Christmas carol house for all our neighbors -- I play the piano and everyone sings, we even have sheet music) We also have homemade boxed cookies for everyone to take home. Everything, house and people and cats, sparkle.

March 2010 newsletter

Volume 002 Number 330

Happy St. Paddy's Day:

So, last Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., (March 9th) I finished giving the galley corrections on the phone to my editor for WHIPLASH (14th FBI, out June 16th) and then typed in the final words to THE VALCOURT HEIRESS, a medieval historical romance out this fall. And I sat there and thought, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW? The answer was, quite simply, nothing. Everything was done. No loose ends, no more deadlines, no critical phone calls -...

February Newsletter 2010

Volume 44 Number 888

Happy Post Superbowl (but how can there be happiness after the Superbowl?) where Sundays will now be greeted with the lament, "But why get up, there's no football," and only accepting, perhaps in May, that Sundays as we know and love them won't appear again until the fall. THE FALL! (One never counts pre-season.) Post Superbowl is one big sigh.

Since Favre wasn't in the Superbowl, we had no grand hopes or desires for either team, but hey, New Orleans, why not? Never has the...

January 2010

Vol. 199 Number 221

Happy January:

This year is, quite simply, great. No more struggling with trying to remember to write two thousand and five or two thousand and eight or two thousand and nine, now it's easy -- you write 2 and think immediately TWENTY -- then you think of the Mayans and there's 2012 right in front of your face and then you subtract 2 and there you have it, all perfect -- twenty ten -- piece of cake. Also you'll find that twenty ten is very easy to type on the keyboard.

I'm up ...

Merry Christmas Everyone:

My house is decorated to its eyebrows, Santas, poinsettias, elves, garlands, wreaths, trees (including a blue one with peacocks on it), stockings, wrapped presents in every single room, including bathrooms, mudrooms, the garage. Such fun. Christmas is my favorite time of year.

Every face in my house is wearing a huge smile, yummy goodies are in every single room, including the bathroom, mudroom, the garage. Parties abound in...

Number 113 No. 552

Happy Thanksgiving!

Do you know that I decided to Christmas-ize my office NOW. I've just put up the gold tree with a huge Santa, elaborate in green gown and bling, and his brother, elaborate in red gown and bling, standing beside it. Because there's so much Christmas stuff, it will take a while to find the peacock ornaments and the tree skirt. Stockings are hung at the fireplace and, you'll not believe this, but let me confess that I've already wrapped about...

October Newsletter

Vol. 229 Number 668

Happy Halloween, Everyone:

Did you see Bret Favre with his eyes closed when Baltimore kicked that final field goal? The Vikings are all yelling and Bret is shaking Tavaris Jackson's arm, yelling, "Did we win? Did we win?" And his eyes fly open and he's grinning from ear to ear and jumping up and down and yelling his head off.  Even though the Viking defense fell apart in the 4th quarter, Favre played brilliantly. 6-0. Who would have predicted that...

Welcome to Fall: And Football!!

Last night I'm sure you all witnessed the Steelers beat the Titans in O.T.  in a hard and brutal game. Unfortunately Troy Palomalu got injured and will be out for three to six weeks, a huge loss for the Steelers.

I've finished writing WHIPLASH, the 14th FBI thriller. I think this is a wild one and hits close to home --  what with the recent revelation of the 2.3 billon dollar fine of Pfizer for their despicable...
