Tuesday, 9th February -- Okay, guys, tote up your wins/losses in our football pool -- And post -- I'm picking winners on Friday.
Everyone, do the neck exercise, but never throw your head back, when you circle your neck, head is down and forward, nice easy circles, then only moving your neck, look as far back as you can to the left, then do it to the right. Snap and crackle -- this is great for all ages and all sexes. Cats and dogs? I don't know.
Started the 26th FBI thriller -- this one's going to be very cool, I hope. I'm thinking of these titles: HAYWIRE, CATALYST, VERDICT -- if you have other very similar one-word titles, let me know, appreciate it.
Outside, dear ones, time's awastin' -- too cold? Okay, up and down stairs or hope on your treadmill or bike and go for it -- for core, lie on your back, hands behind your head and left his head, squeezing stomach muscles -- this is gentle and effective. Let me know what you think.

Monday, 8th February -- Super Bowl: I'd say about 45% of you are very happy, about 45% of you are very disappointed and 10% of you couldn't give a crap about the outcome. Let's do totals for the year: I ended up 64-34. Post your own end of seasons wins/losses. What fun!
The only thing now is football season is over -- but the Warriors are about 500, I think, play the San Antonio Spurs this evening. As you know, Curry is amazing, but he's really the only super star, ah, poor Klay Thompson, but he won't be back this year (achilles).
Everyone, stand straight, slowly turn your NECK only all the way to the left, then slowly all the way to the right -- several times, then circle and half-circle your neck several times. Talk about Snap, Crackle, Pop -- do tell me what you think of this one.

Sunday, 7th February -- Well, the day is here, finally, and it's going to be a fun day, no matter who you're rooting for. Your comments show about a 50-50 split between the Chiefs and the Bucs. Both are outstanding -- raise that mimosa, chow down those chips and salsa, smear guac on yet another chip and shout your lungs out!

Saturday, 6th February -- I'm going with Tommy and the Bucs -- It's still so hard to believe how this all came about -- I mean Brady leaves Patriots, goes to Tampa Bay, they do crappy for a while -- new QB, no practice,, -- and then they just get better and better, Gronk comes, and Antonio Brown -- amazing.
Hope for a great game. Take your pick and then tally up and let me know.
Do you know they're already doing the jacket copy for VORTEX? That's the synopsis for the book you read on the inside flap. Goodness, and VORTEX isn't out until August --
All goes well here today, MEXICAN LUNCH outside, since it'll be going toward warm -- 64 degrees --

Thursday, 4th February -- Okay, what are you guys doing "special" for Valentine's Day? Yep, time to start thinking about it -- Valentine's tacos to go with Valentine's margaritas and chips and salsa? Flowers? A special massage lotion? Give it some thought for your significant other -- Yes, I'm thinking -- Not only husband but Eli and Peyton, who love Valentine's Day. I think they're hoping I'll go out and snare a rabbit and bake it for them -- I keep telling them there's no chance of that. Wednesday, 3rd February -- Here's the deal, I usually read everyone's comments the night before (at least the few they give me) but there were no comments. I mean, it said there were a whole lot, but Facebook didn't deign to show them. This morning, they reinstated the comments. I've not answered all of them, so -- ah, it's always something, right?
The novella -- THE RED WITCH OF RAVENSTONE FOLLY is off today to my agent to get published in ebook. I'll keep you posted. Maybe a month from now it'll be out? Something like that, it's always so fast. This one is the 5th Grayson Sherbrooke otherworldly adventure and it was lots of fun -- I had no idea how it was going to work out itself out, hope you like what happened.
All of you, survive the snow, maybe argue with the ground hog Phil, for whatever good that would do.
Gorgeous here, sunny, cool, clouds dotting a blue sky, a strike of black cloud slashing through everything. What's going to happen? No clue.

Tuesday, 2nd February -- Lovely news, my editor writes he LOVES VORTEX -- talk about music to my ears. I'll be speaking to him later this morning, hear specific comments. He'll undoubtedly have improvement suggestions, which I welcome. because that's why God created editors.
It's sort of a little bit rainy this morning, not much, but something. How are you guys doing back east in that mighty snow storm? I give you permission -- stay inside, snuggle your kitters, drink a lovely "something" and READ (one of my books, of course).
What are your predictions for Ground Hog Day?
Okay: If you're snowed in, do this:
lie on your back
bend your knees
tuck your butt -- 12 times
You do not have to raise your butt off the floor, simply tuck, okay?
If you can, out and about and do give me a minute, that's all I ask, don't want to be greedy.

Monday, 1st February -- Glad you liked the sailboat, Angel Island and those incredible clouds. Clouds like that don't come around here every day, in fact, it's rare. I enjoy seeing all your snow photos and believe me, they are beautiful, but I wouldn't want to have to be outside in it. Yep, wuss here.
Okay, guys:
l) Face mirror, arms straight out to the sides, hands bent back, roll forward 12 times, then back 12 times. Repeat -- wonderful triceps
2) Stand straight, shoulders to ears, shoulders back, drop -- repeat three times -- great for posture.
Let me know when you get your vaccine -- I really like the idea of having a larger Vaccinated Pod --
If things are really screwed up in your state, if vaccines have gone missing (because they have) because the state isn't keeping track, (which is happening) get on the phone to your state representatives and congress-people. -- I mean it, take thirty minutes and tell those who represent you, supposedly, what's happening and demand answers --
Going to rain here today, but right now, sunny and cool, glorious, really.

Saturday, 30th January -- No rain today, which is okay since we want the previous rains to soak in. As you know mudslides tend to be something of a problem here and there on the coast in California, so these storms (if you could call them that) are being well managed by Mother Nature -- guess what? Outdoor dining at The Cantina today! Big yea -- see new faces, maybe speak from a distance, hear what people are talking about, what they have to say about the vaccine delivery here in Marin County. And that's a good thought -- you have outdoor dining, go and listen and ask questions about supply/delivery/to whom right now in your area.. Ask questions. You never know when you're going to learn something that will be you right in and vaccinated. It's a win-win, what with a taco on a plate in front of you.
Who misses football? Who is transiting full time to basketball? As many of you know and really don't care, the Warriors aren't doing so hot. Klay Thompson (torn Achilles) will be out this year as well which leaves Steph Curry (usually the high scorer on both teams even with losses) and Draymond Green (big mouth who directs defense and is excellent) and that's sort of it. Luckily their record so far is 10-9, making them 9th in the conference.
All right, shut up -- zip my lip --
Easy day today -- still no walking, so please donate a minute of yours for me. Oh yes, isn't that sunrise incredible?
