Monday, lst March -- I always think of the March hare when this month rolls around. Who knows where that came from? A poetry festival in NewFoundland?
Another week begins and here we are, still frigid in some parts of the country and perfect in other parts -- whatever nature tosses your way this month, you can handle it. Who has pets who love the snow? Who has pets who would rather chew off their paw nails than go outside when there's all that white stuff on the ground?
Do you know Peyton and Eli have never seen snow? I wonder what they'd do.
Today, work, of course. It's really strange -- I've hit a roadblock and keep rewriting to get this one character to go where I want him -- well, it's obvious to me now (after 4 tries) that he doesn't want to go this way and has told me very stringently to go shove it (well, he's a bit more crude in my head, but I don't want to be indelicate with you guys) So, now, I have to figure out what he wants, not what I want. Please cross your fingers for me -- sometimes characters are the very devil --
It's outside in the glorious world for everyone -- if the weather is crappy, put on lots of layers, an umbrella if needed -- and walk somewhere, doesn't matter, just get out there and MOVE.

I'm Baaaack!

Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
