I've been too distracted by Dragon's Dogma to read much, but I have managed to make it a bit further in this one. I still don't get why Sara keeps trying to heal P...It's a little silly in my opinion.

I agree with Pestilence...it's weird that she's trying to "nurse" him knowing what she does about him. Sara, please don't disappoint me...

I'm losing a little steam. The second half of this book is wildly different than the first.

I'm not one to get overly irritated at "special" main characters but man, this girl inspires such strong emotions in all those she meets, whether it's hatred or adoration, for absolutely no reason. I'm seriously trying to let it fly...

So far this is only very loosely based on Cinderella and/or Beauty and the Beast. But I'm kind of okay with that...

Another KU that I'm trying, mostly due to the lovely cover, but also partly because I'm a sucker for Beauty and the Beast.

So far this book is good, but I'm still waiting for it to get great. I need for it to be great.

I'm on pause with this one right now. It started strong, but I don't love books told from multiple points of view. 2 POVs...eh, okay, but this threw 2 more POVs within the last 5%. I find it harder to connect to the characters and story AND sometimes it's just a little jarring. More is not always better...just throwing that out there.

This is surprisingly good. The Valian and Henri were unexpected...

I've had this out on KU for a while now. Need to give it a shot before deciding to exchange. Off to an okay start, but I'll have to see if it holds up...

I love seeing Jaxi again! I've only read Balanced on the Blade' s Edge (couple of years ago), and Jaxi was my favorite then, too.

For the record...drinking water with a pH of 6.05 will not kill you. "Normal" range is 6-8.5. Just saying. Sheesh.
