Off to a strong start. This author definitely doesn't hold back. Such a brutally fascinating reality they live in...

I walk out to him and he smiles. And yeah, that grin could stop my heart. With all its fangs and whiteness it's both terrifying and beautiful, like a charging tiger. And the animalistic part of that is a pretty effective turn-on for me.

Finished "Spicy Little Curses Such as These." I loved the setting of this one!

Finished "One Fierce With Wanting." I have to admit, I was hoping it would all turn out fine for Kizzy. I was a little enchanted by her and Jack...

But she's human not Gryfala. Rrr.

For a book about brilliants, people with extraordinary minds (savants), this main guy is pretty lame. Like, he's supposed to be Tier 1 (the best of the best) but so far all his special ability amounts to is using logic in a logical way. Not at all extraordinary. Now, some of the other brilliants are pretty cool, but our guy, eh, not so much :/

With quick, darting motions, Dirk let his tongue explore the forest to be found between her powerful legs until he discovered the sweet valley that parted the foliage; lapping at the warm waters of her stream until she threw her head back in delighted ecstasy. Omg, this book, y'all.

This book has my eyes rolling so hard. Can't tell if it's in a good way yet as obviously it's meant to be over the top cheese.

Wow, this definitely has some brutal moments.

He waited, patiently, somewhat patiently, not at all patiently. His fingers were itching to hold his knives, the comforting weight in his hands, but he kept them sheathed. If they were going to have any element of surprise, it was best not to look like a dangerous murderer. Good call, Ven.

Listening to the audio. Excited because Luke Daniels is one of my fave male narrators!

I like the story and they world, but here comes the but... but, the girls' voices read younger than they are. When they are accepted into the academy they are supposedly 15-16 but sound and act like 12-13. Even at this point in the book, where they are like 18-19 they still seem much younger.

Started listening to this one because I enjoyed the author's other book, Starship Grifters, so much. Already really spoofy.

I started this last night. So far, so good. I'm really liking the concept.

I have a hard time with the non-con/dub-con stuff, but this goes from "Please don't make me do this" to "You are amazing" like super quick :/

She didn’t know what would be worse, the idea that they were fighting over her to eat or to have sex with her. My guess is that eating would be worse...
