Okay...this is kind of blowing my mind. What's happening?!?

Finally getting to this one after years of putting it off!

Nothing like a little light reading....

There has been WAY more angsty romance in this one than I originally anticipated. Of course, judging by the cover I should have expected it, but looking at the tags I thought it'd be a little more science fiction oriented. Why anyone would tag this as anything other than science fiction romance is beyond me. Of course, I happen to like sci-fi romance for the most part so it's not that big of a deal...

Don't mistake my leisurely reading pace for ambivalence. Despite the instalust (a pet peeve of mine) I'm really enjoying this one. I like the characters, though I'm not super invested in the plot yet, and even the instant attraction makes sense to an extent. I guess is the reason it's not bothering me too badly.

Still really liking this one. It seems really well plotted and thought out.

Just as an aside, it kind of surprises me that it was written by a woman, mostly due of the tone of the main character.

I hate to stop listening! This is really pretty good, but I have to wait until Monday to continue. Thems the rules.

Yet another that I've started that is so not on my "schedule of books to be read this month". Gah! I'm soooo bad with book schedules. I always have good intentions....

But a sci-fi romance featuring a 7 ft tall blue android machine dude? Yeah, I kinda need to read it. Screw the schedule.

The first part of this book was really good but man, this middle section... I think it'd probably be interesting if it wasn't literally putting me to sleep.

We have, each of us, a life-story, an inner narrative-whose continuity, whose sense, is our lives. It might be said that each of us constructs and lives, a 'narrative', and that this narrative is us, our identities.

To be ourselves we must have ourselves...

Imagine losing yourself so completely that you have to continually create a new narrative, a new 'self', every minute of every day.

Wow...things just went south. Fast. I can't say that I'm completely devastated because they were all a bunch of jackholes anyway...

This is slow going. I have to keep relistening to parts because I've either spaced out or I didn't follow it fully. One of the downsides of audio books :/

I really don't like the way the narrator narrates one of the characters. It's really distracting :/

Ooooh, I'm over Einstein, bully dbag. Someone needs to take care of that pronto.

I can already tell I'm really going to like this.

It's kind of funny/interesting because their planet/star system/coalition/whatever was set up by the Catholic Church.

I can't tell if Jack really knows what's going on. It almost feels like he thinks it's all in his head still.
