I actually really like the slow pace of the story so far.

All the "my woman" and "my mate", coupled with the "don't worry your pretty little head" and the shopping malls and hair salons they provide to keep their "girls" happy, make this book a little cringey.

Maybe I should have updated sooner, but I'm really loving this! I can't believe I waited so long to read it....

Y'all, I don't love love triangles, and this is most definitely in triangle territory. My team never wins, either, which only adds to my dislike (and is probably the reason for it to begin with!) I'm pro-Archeron at this point, but not anti-Stolas. Let's continue...

What's the point of a blindfold when you're portalling out of somewhere? Blindfold on, step through portal, blindfold off. And it was specifically to keep her from finding her way back. I think someone just wanted to use a blindfold to build tension...
