Task 20.4: Let's Go Camping

Dice Roll: 4, Bump-in-the-night

Book: The Hangman's Daughter by Oliver Pötzsch

I have never read a book by Potzsch before. I enjoyed this book so I may read the next one in the series.

The book made me jump because children disappeared and a couple were found dead. A witchcraft trial was also in progress and the hangman had to torture a suspected witch for a confession.

20.3 Best Review- Anne (booklady)'s task: Reading...by the Numbers

I rolled a 2.

My unfinished task from the Spring Challenge was 15.8 - International Worker’s Day.

20.8 Delicious Dee's task: It's Time for the Summer Country Concert Series

Part A:
4. Brad Paisley
- with songs like Celebrity, Alcohol, Flowers and Toothbrush, you can see he likes those one word titles - read a book that has only one word in the title. (i.e. Crank, Speak) The book may NOT use a subtitle

I Read Valiant by Holly Black

Part B:
1. Maroon 5
- opened up when I saw them with Counting Crows a few years ago, and they were much better than the main act (unfortunately). Read a book that either has a number or a color in the title - numbers like one, two, three count - first, second, third do not. (i.e One For The Money, Blue Dahlia)

I read A Million Suns by Beth Revis

Gayla Bassham (sophronisba) | 64 comments 20.9 Lucky Me!- mstan's task: Please Be Patient...

Read a book you discover in Book X.

3. The book can be mentioned either before or after the main portion of Book X. For example, for e-books, there is sometimes a section stating other works readers enjoyed at the end of the book; for physical books, the publisher may also include synopses or sample chapters of other books at the end.

The Mad Ship by Robin Hobb

A sample chapter of Mad Ship was included at the end of Ship of Magic, which I read for task 25.1.
