30.6 Melanie's Task: Myth-behaving Greeks Book A – 4. Hades: The Passage by Justin Cronin. The main character, Amy, is not a traditional vampire but nonetheless the fact that she is over 100 years old and still looks about 14, survives nuclear fallout and life-threatening wounds and has this strange communication ability with the more savage vampire beings, I think qualifies her as a character who is considered dead.
