15.2 - Recommended Books - Voted for The Hunger Games and read The Help by Katherine Stockett *(Goodreads Author)

15.1 - New Horizons - The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, from Popular Contemporary Fiction. I generally stay away from that type of book, unless it's fantasy/sci-fi. I make exceptions, but for the most part, it's just not my thing. This book was no exception. didn't like it in the least.

15.3 - continental Divide - Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I got South America on the list randomizer, and Mr. Marquez is from Columbia.

El 5.4 - I'm Glad My Mother Didn't Name Me...
Sula, Toni Morrison. I don't particularly care for the name Sula or Nel (the two main characters in the story).

20.4 - Mrs. Soule’s Task (Author! Author!) - The Plot Line Thickens
Fingersmith, Sarah Waters. (592 pp - BIG BOOK TICKET)
I especially like movies that involve some wild plot-twist, particularly in mysteries (similar to Fingersmith), thrillers or horror movies. I love being hit with something I didn't see coming.

Retribution by Jilliane Hoffman

I entered Karin Slaughter (one of my favorite authors) in to the literature map and the name that came closest was Jilliane Hoffman (whom I had never even heard of before). I thought the style was very close to Karin Slaughter and I liked this book a lot and will definitely read more by this author. Thanks so much for pointing out literature map to me. It will be a resource I use frequently.

Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens and Peter and Wendy by J.M. Barrie

I was struggling to find a title with my letters - then I remembered that the name Wendy actually came from this book! I have seen the play several times and read rewritten or abridged children's editions, but this is the first time I have read the complete original story. I found the language very old fashioned!

5.2 The Lion in Winter: A Play - James Goldman

Review: This play was a very quick read and quite intriguing. It was a fictionalized account of Henry II, his wife Eleanor of Aquitaine, and their 3 sons. Lots of sarcasm and family drama made it a fun read. I can see why this play is a classic and has been turned into a movie and a mini series.
